I knew a little about Farrell Heyworth and their reputation before approaching them to sell my property in Fulwood. Business is about people - I was introduced to Natalie at the very beginning of the process and she has been absolutely superb throughout the whole experience. For personal reasons, I had to withdraw my property from the market for a short period, which obviously complicated matters, but Natalie took it all within her stride and introduced a new buyer almost as soon as the property was put back on the market. Communication throughout has been excellent and it was reassuring to know that whatever developments took place, Natalie was always totally on top of the situation - it was almost as if she became my temporary Personal Assistant, not only during the viewing/sales phase but in following up all subsequent enquiries until contracts were exchanged. She was totally 'on my wavelength' throughout the process and I had absolute confidence that she understood my needs and that she would deal professionally with whatever might arise whilst the property was on the market. Moving house is traditionally a very stressful process, but Natalie's friendliness, communication skills, flexibility and reliability made the whole selling experience so much more relaxed.PositiveResponsiveness, Quality, Professionalism

Absolutely shocking company, I would not advise anyone to use them. What the person that come out to value says is not how they work at all. We had to do all the chasing up and they are just bad at communicating with client. They had property 4 weeks and one inappropriate viewing later we terminated our association with them. Been with new company 10 days and had 2 viewings and a few more booked In this weekend.

AVOID AT ALL COST Forget about maintenance for minor repairs, you have to do it yourself For major and emergency repairs again do it yourself unfortunately, because they can leave you without a heater for all your stay in the house, i fixed the smart meter in the house myself. In particular , avoid PR2 2RT 4 Francis street, the house is full of mould , The house looks repainted when i got it, never knew it was full of mould, i got to know when i started seeing signs during winter, my health was in danger, i left my apartment to squat with a friend,i informed this agency , they said they will inform my landlord and nothing was done…only for my deposit to be deducted for redecoration after i left… Avoid at all cost, i read reviews , saw the negative result but I went ahead to give them a trial thinking i will have good things to say ….. They are the Worse if not Worst.. PS: i will keep dropping reviews anytime I remember how the said building affected me.

I was in search of my very first rental property but I was living abroad which meant I had to send a third party to view flats for me. After a few failed attempts at finding my 'perfect' home through private landlords I found a lovely little flat advertised by Farrell Hayworth. A couple of days later my parents had arranged a viewing which I attended through Skype. We all instantly fell in love with the flat, it was perfect for my needs and Russell was very accommodating to my large and unusual viewing party, patiently answering questions being fired at him from 3 generations of Doyles. From that moment I knew that I wanted to make my home in the property but as I was abroad at the time it was going to be difficult. Russell worked long and hard to find the way to make it happen for me and that hard work paid off. After 1 week of being back in the U.K. I got the keys to my beautiful new home, I am now settled in and I am happier than I ever thought I could be. My landlords are as wonderful as Russell said they were and my flat is perfect. Russell and his colleagues at Farrell Hayworth went above and beyond to help me, they could have taken an easier tenant for the flat but they decided to work extra hard to get me my dream. My experience with Farrell and Heyworth Fulwood has been brilliant, i dealt with Tom and he has been helpful through the whole process of purchasing a property, from the start where he gave me ideas and picked several houses for me to view after sitting down and listening to my budget, requirements and wishes from a house. He was very friendly and i could contact him anytime even if it was out of working hours. Tom wasn’t pushy towards a sale or pressuring at all, he let me decide for myself and due to this i would recommend him to anyone purchasing a house and go to him again in the future. We asked Farrell Hayworth to list and sell our house, in January, Simon the Manger from Garstang Rd office came and valued our property for sale, the advice he gave us was to prove invaluable along the way. We had found a property and had an offer accepted, Simon handed the responsibility over to Tom to market and sell our house, which he achieved in less than 3 weeks. Due to unforeseen circumstances we had to pull out of the sale and start the process again. Within 1 hour Tom had us another buyer who had sold their property and looking to by in our area, the house was viewed and sold immediately. We had found another property to buy and the wheels were put in motion. Simon, Tom, Alison and the team at Farrell Hayworth Fulwood Branch, went above and beyond what we would expect from an estate agency, they became the hinge pin and driving force between the solicitors, our buyers and ourselves, absolutely nothing was to much trouble. Our sale and purchase completed, but not without a couple of hitches, again Simon, Tom and Alison stepped up to bring everything back on track. They are not only Estate Agents, they are professional, committed, friendly but above all a credit to the company. After the service we received throughout the process, our gratitude is immeasurable, we would not hesitate to recommend Simon and his team to anyone.

I tried to book a viewing for a property but they first told me i need to do an online viewing and see if we like the property. The online viewing comprised of a shoddy video made by amateurs and i would not really call it a viewing. Anyway, we were still interested in the property so i called the agent and asked if we could book a traditional viewing. I am a cash buyer and i was told that i cant view the property without showing proof that i have the cash ready. What a ridiculous notion!!! i have viewed several properties recently with other agents and not one has asked me for proof of funds, so why is Farrell Heyworth being so awkward. Moreover, why would i view a property if i know i cant afford it. Its simple maths, i either have the cash or i do not, its not like a mortgage where there is a chance it may be rejected. Absolute shocking service from these people and i would advise everyone to stay well away. In this difficult climate, they are making things tougher for buyers and i cannot believe they are turning potential buyers down. STAY WELL AWAY!!! NEW REVIEW: I had my second contact with this estate agent 2 weeks ago. i left an enquiry to purchase a flat and was told they will contact me to arrange a viewing. 2 weeks later i still didnt receive a call or email to arrange the viewing so i called them today. They told me that there was a block viewing last week and the property has now been sold. What a joke!. Nobody bothered to call me to view the property and now the seller was forced to accept an offer which was way lower than ours because he didnt even know we wanted to make an offer. Customer service at this company is non existent. Worst experience ive had with a estate agent and second time this has happened with them. So frustrating!NegativeQuality, Professionalism, Value
