I acknowledge your feedback Ahmadzai, but you must understand, that you entered into an agreement to take a tenancy on a property via this agency. You completed an application form and paid your holding deposit as requested. You then withdrew from the tenancy as you had the opportunity to remain in your current home and on this basis the holding fee is not refundable as stated in the application form.

I invited three reputable, local agents to tender for the sale, selecting David because he coupled a business approach with a friendly, engaging personality. I felt that we would get on well and we did.
Initial viewings were quickly arranged and David found a very interested buyer before lockdown. David remained in close touch over the time when nothing could happen, secured our purchaser when 'normality' was resumed and completion is tomorrow, Monday 24th August!

They were professional with potential buyers and very supportive and caring with both of us as sellers.

My offer was accepted prior to the COVID lockdown and exchange/completion happened in August after restrictions began to ease. In short, it was a difficult time to attempt an international move.
Despite the complex nature of the deal, Jo was efficient and professional and worked to ease uncertainty both for myself and the vendors. The exchange/completion went through smoothly despite the complications associated with the international mortgage, economic uncertainty due to lockdown, and the restrictions for surveys and valuations.

GoogleDuncan Perry helped me to sell my home in 2019. They were fantastic! I had David and Jo working with me on my house sale and from the start, they were amazing. Kind, patient and so accommodating to work around me and my busy work schedule.
The whole process was so easy and if I needed questions answered I could call or email at any time and have the answer given to me straight away. They didn't make me feel like I was being a nuisance if I had to ask for something again or wouldn't argue with me if they felt I was making a wrong decision or choice which some estate agents would.

GoogleTwo years and half years ago myself and my family were left in a situation where we had no where to call home. I contacted Duncan Perry and they had u in a 3 bedroom property within a week. It is to our regret that we will be leaving Duncan Perry as our current landlord is now selling. However, since being with Duncan Perry they have been nothing but supportive. Worst Experience EVER!!
Rented A bungalow through Duncan Perry for £1200pcm and it has been the worst experience of my Life. The Landlords family live in the neighbouring property and are the most anti social people i have ever come across ( metalworking till 10pm on sundays, dogs barking till 3am and music blaring out till late) complaints to duncan perry go unheard as they have 2 interests which are the rent and what the landlords want.
Needed to get hold of Duncan perry after house was hit by lightning but they have no emergency number (or just cant be bothered to answer) and still waiting for emergency repairs to be done after more than a week.
Towards the end of the tenancy the landlord started locking the main gate to the property while i was out which caused many problems trying to get back into the home i rented
If your thinking of renting please do yourself a favour and choose a better estate agent.
