GoogleWe had a viewing for a rental property with Emma. She was very polite, informative and showed us around with ease. Emma was very friendly and easy to speak too and answered any questions we had and told us to call her if we needed anything :)

GoogleJust completed sale of our house using Northwood Portsmouth and what a great and stress free experience it was. We left it completely in the hands of Simon Bell the manager who got us the best possible price. He personally addressed a particular item raised with the buyers solicitors to everyone’s satisfaction which speeded up the sale. All in all a first class service by a great team at Northwood. GoogleI have been with Northwood for a number of years now and I can honestly say they are the best. Nothing is ever too much trouble for them and they have the best landlords on their books. They have a great team onboard who know their stuff, in particular Gillian Wakeford and Emma Reid. Both always very polite and professional, they aim and do get the job done. Northwood are lucky to have such exemplary individuals working for them - they are the best in class. Go go Northwood!

GoogleI have been renting from this agent for a number of years now and never have had a problem with them, any issues that i have had ie general maintenance of the properties i have been renting they are quick to sort the issues out. All the staff that i have dealt with ie Anita, Jenni, Gillian and katie plus others are friendly, polite, professional and hard working. Emma is also amazing, she has just come to do a flat inspection, I would highly recommend them to anybody looking to rent or lease a property.

GoogleI recommend Simon from Northwood Portsmouth, very good communication skills and very helpful, with a lot of experience he will help you to pass smoothly through a long and complicated process as buying a house, me and my partner had some problems with our solicitor putting us in a bad situation of failing the process, but Simon managed in the last second to repair what our solicitor did wrong and now we are happy living in our beautiful house.😊

GoogleCustomer service as it used to be. Personal. Can't get better than that. All of the staff in the office were great to work with and Simon was just the most helpful of men. It was all I could have wanted in dealing with a sale of a property, even one that was made more difficult by me not being in the country for most of the time. I would have no hesitation in recommending the company and the staff to any potential customers. Either buying or selling.

GoogleI have just moved out of a rented property looked after by Northwood Portsmouth. And I have to say the team there are so nice and helpful. I’ve used other estate agents when renting before and I have had a horrific time. The team here at Northwood looked after me from start to finish and any issues that may have arisen at the property was dealt with quickly and efficiently, with no fuss or hassle. I’m no longer needing to rent anymore however if I ever needed to I would totally use them again. And I would highly recommend them to anyone.

GoogleI used Northwood when purchasing my first home and unfortunately had a poor experience. The estate agent I dealt with came across as condescending and insensitive, which made the process quite uncomfortable. I didn’t feel confident in his honesty or approach, and his manner didn’t reflect the level of professionalism I would expect during such an important purchase. Being discouraged from getting a survey was also particularly concerning. Based on my experience, I wouldn’t use Northwood again or recommend them to others.

Thank you for taking the time to leave a review and I am truly sorry that you had a disappointing experience. Any advice given to you was always honest and done from the point of view of trying to help someone buy their first home. However, I will always give everyone truthful advice, even if it isn’t what they want to hear. You were buying a middle floor flat, had a mortgage valuation done and the mortgage company were satisfied. After this you wanted to get a more in depth survey done, my advice was that whilst this was absolutely fine, I felt your money could be spent more wisely. The more in depth survey came back raising no concerns. After this you instructed a contractor to carry out a damp survey, which confirmed there were no issues, you then wanted a second opinion, and that contractor also confirmed there was no damp. You then mentioned wanting to have a Radon test done and that this would take 6-8 weeks. A couple of weeks later you withdrew from the purchase. Since then we have found a new buyer who offered you £225 for your searches. After 3 weeks of liaising with you and your solicitor, unfortunately we were unable to reach an agreement regarding this and the offer was withdrawn. I would like to wish you all the best with your property search
