Simon was our estate agent for a flat sale on our behalf. Throughout what is well known as a stressful and difficult process in life, Simon was courteous, encouraging, helpful and professional. He was hands down the best and most useful individual throughout the entire buy and sell transaction and helped push it along amazingly. I can not recommend him enough, without him it is likely to have been even harder and much more stressful! I will be recommending him to any friends who look to sell in future as well.

I have been renting from this agent for a number of years now and never have had a problem with them, any issues that i have had ie general maintenance of the properties i have been renting they are quick to sort the issues out. All the staff that i have dealt with ie Anita, Jenni, Gillian and katie plus others are friendly, polite, professional and hard working. I have just moved out of a rented property looked after by Northwood Portsmouth. And I have to say the team there are so nice and helpful. I’ve used other estate agents when renting before and I have had a horrific time. The team here at Northwood looked after me from start to finish and any issues that may have arisen at the property was dealt with quickly and efficiently, with no fuss or hassle. I’m no longer needing to rent anymore however if I ever needed to I would totally use them again. And I would highly recommend them to anyone.

I used Northwood when purchasing my first home and unfortunately had a poor experience. The estate agent I dealt with came across as condescending and insensitive, which made the process quite uncomfortable. I didn’t feel confident in his honesty or approach, and his manner didn’t reflect the level of professionalism I would expect during such an important purchase. Being discouraged from getting a survey was also particularly concerning. Based on my experience, I wouldn’t use Northwood again or recommend them to others.

We have been renting a property with Northwood for about a year and a half, and they have consistently been a pleasure to deal with. Anita and Gillian have been incredibly helpful to us, especially throughout the last few months. We have had countless maintenance issues arise: boilers breaking, hot water loss, building related issues. Despite this, they have always endeavoured to get them all sorted ASAP. Equally, a mention for Emma who was an absolute joy to have visit our flat for a property inspection. She was lovely and I felt as though she truly cared about things that were happening in our flat. I’ve never had such great service from an estate agency before, and Northwood Portsmouth are at an exceptional standard compared to the rest which we have experienced in the local area.

Moving home is a complex process which requires handling by the best professionals in their field. Simon has been amazing with my property sale. Losing my first buyer, was met with swift action to re-market the property, whilst maintaining transparency to others in our small chain.
