GoogleWonderful place,great food,service & people.It was my granddaughters 9th birthday she loves sushi.we were treated great as usual & the staff even sung happy birthday for her. Brilliant place,a must if you like Jappanese food.

Googleamazing atmosphere I think it might’ve been the owner her name was Rachel. She came over to me and my friend skye and made us feel so welcome. The food was also amazing very hot and fresh. I enjoyed every bite. I even had to take some away. thank you so much sakura

GoogleI really enjoy going to this place, The food is so good and the staff are very friendly, my go to food is the spicy ramen 🍜 I could do with being spicier but you can always add more chilies and the portions are very good. Can't wait for my next trip to Portsmouth

GoogleSolid restaurant and great, authentic feeling & tasting food. The menu has pictures of all of the items so you can know what to expect. It can feel a bit stuffy at peak times but that can be expected as it's a pretty small restaurant. Overall not too bad.

GoogleExcellent Japanese restaurant, offering a wide variety of delicious dishes. Definitely worth a visit, we loved the garlic fried rice, chicken noodles and Southsea Maki sushi amongst many others. Friendly, efficient and relatively quick service. We will visit again.

GoogleThe poor reviews are correct. Approached local estate agents via On The Market to value my Aunts property to sell in Southsea. A Kevin who claimed to head up the Sales Team called. He was very pushy from the start telling me he has 35 years of experience selling properties which is great and appealing no doubt. I had to pull him back from his forceful sales pitch to ask some questions I had about the agency itself. When I informed him that we already have a very similar Independent Agent attending and ideally, I wanted a variety of no more than 3 valuations which were small, large and corporate. He became angry and aggressive yelling at me why I thought 35 years of experience counted for nothing. Needless to say he will not be getting my or my family's business today or in the future. A sad, arrogant man who probably has a very lonely existence desperate for business. Judging by the lack of response to poor reviews it seems he doesn't care as well. If you want an Agent who only cares about himself, throws his toys out of his Zimmer frame, gets flustered and aggressive easily, to sell your home or manage your let property, then Kevin and King's Estates is the right choice for you.

GoogleGood food but POOR hospitality… Me and two friends went came for dinner last Saturday and had a pleasant time throughout the meal. Unfortunately towards the end of our meal we started experience some cold treatment. Not even fully done with our meal the waitress very swiftly tried to clear up our plates even with small portions of food in it and we had to annoying explain that we’re not done eating. It was clear that they were in a rush to close. Secondly, one of my friends was spoken quite rudely from one of the elderly Malaysian Chinese lady. My friend who is Malaysian asked politely which part of Malaysia but he got shrugged off with a harsh reply saying “Penang” (one of these areas of Malaysia). Me and my friends felt quite bad about the whole experience especially coughing up over £100 on the bill. Good food but poor hospitality.

GoogleI’ve been a few times now during my vacations, and the grilled dishes are just as good as the raw options. The sashimi is spot-on not too sweet, just nicely done. GoogleBeautiful place with lovely food! It’s great to see they have quite a few vegetarian options, the gyoza and maki were particularly good, but veggie options were hard to pick out from the menu. It would be great if these were more clearly marked, along with some vegan options. Gorgeous atmosphere though, very helpful and friendly staff and the food we had was delicious.

GoogleNice food but save yourself the confusion and awkwardness if you have food allergy. Menu was inconsistent (despite having symbols for what allergies it included). Shame as lovely setting.
