The team at Cubitt and West have been everything you could wish for in an estate agent. The fees are competitive and the service they provide more than justifies their fees. From my initial interaction with Julian, viewings with Katarina and Tony, they work collectively as a team to ensure the best possible outcome for the buyer and seller.My property was slightly unusual in the market and they promised me that they would find me a buyer and they duly obliged. I cannot thank them enough for helping me move forward with the next stage of my property journey and would fully recommend them for both sides of your property transactions. I would say Cubitt and Best.

Viewed a house at the start of December with Zoey from the Portsmouth branch. She was really lovely and made us feel at ease considering it was the first house we'd ever viewed. After putting in the offer she kept in touch with us to let us know how the other viewings were going & when she called to say we'd been accepted by the sellers you could tell from her voice she was genuinely happy for us which was so nice! Zoey then was kind enough to arrange a weekend viewing so we could show our parents the house!Since offering, we've been dealing with Julie also in Portsmouth who has been very helpful too. She has contacted our sellers for queries & also arranged a survey for us from a local tradesman on certain things. This was arranged & report sent back within 2 days! We are due to pick up our keys from Julie next week & we cannot wait! Would 100% use Cubitt & West again if we ever needed to :)

Horrendous, lazy agents. Great sales pitch from Leeanna up front, which is the only time you'll deal with her - Once she's "closed you" by making you feel you've built up a meaningful relationship, she's on to the next victim.The staff have no respect for your property - "Don't worry about taking off your shoes" - Do the bare minimum to get by and then when you get a buyer the progression are all part time with an abundance of annual leave! An absolute nightmare for continuity!I can't believe the audacity, and if you need to express that you're unhappy they leave you waiting forever for replies and just don't care!Please use someone else, save yourself the pain.. Choosing the right agent is as important as choosing the right solicitor, it would be a mistake to choose Cubitt & West.Beware the fake reviews on here making them look better than they are. When questioned I'm sure they'll say this is false - Happy to share my experience with you in more detail if it helps you avoid making the wrong decision..

As an investor in the Portsmouth area I simply wouldn’t consider doing it without the support and guidance of a good letting agent. Cubitt & West is a solid, professional and reliable agent. However, Marcus Farrow takes this from ‘good’ to ‘excellent’. His experience, enthusiasm and ‘can do’ approach means that I am in safe hands and have him to turn to every step of the way. The thing is, while I have a great relationship with Marcus, so do my tenants! And that really sews it up. If you’re thinking of appointing a letting agent go no further. Give Marcus a call.

I have only been renting from cubitt and west for nearly 2 years, I cannot fault them at all their communication is brilliant. Marcus from the north end Portsmouth branch has been brilliant from as soon as we started renting especially as we had a problem with out boiler a few days ago and within 4 hours of speaking to him someone had been out and fixed the boiler. Nothing is to much trouble for him he is always there when you need help. He always goes above and beyond.

We had another great experience selling a second property in 18 months through Cubitt & West notably because of Kurran Vasdav who acted quickly and had a buyer in just a few day of marketing. Kurran really knows his trade and is well trusted to do the right thing for the customer. We have to also call out Tamsin Billingham who is an absolute superstar. She not only managed the transition post sales to completion but was pivotal in ensuring that everything was followed up on in a timely manner and really and truly managed both ours and the buyers solicitors ensuring they acted timely and effectively. Both Kurran and Tamsin are great assets for Cubitt & West and should be recognised for going over and above. Thank you team!
