Amazing experience with Woods Estate Agents. Me and my partner are renting flat in Portishead and needed to come all over from Milton Keynes. All the appointments were made on time. As it was long trip to Portishead, Woods estate's staff arrange all paper work at Milton Keynes agency so, it was unbelievably comfortable for us. We recently moved from New York to Portishead for my Work. We had never even visited the town before but needed a house for our family. Kristina was absolutely amazing. She explained the whole process in great detail and helped us find a house who would also let us keep our family dog. Kristina videoed every room of the house with detailed descriptions and was extremely honest in her accounts of the property. We will hopefully be set to buy in a couple of years and will definitely be using Woods.

When Chris Woodward came to work at Woods he energetically took up the problems I was experiencing with the flat I was renting and had them resolved quickly. It was a long standing problem so I was very grateful. He kept in contact with me throughout, letting me know progress which made me feel taken care of. Chris has a genuine interest in ensuring his clients (people renting) get the service they require. He provides the same service you would expect for a landlord. From my experience this is unusual so Chris is a great asset to Woods in Portishead. If you want to rent a property with Woods, Chris will take good care of you.

They treated me with absolute kindness and care, helped me with renting my first ever flat. gave me so much time and care in getting the right flat for me and even giving me personal advice. NEVER EVER will rent with this agency again! Me and my husband had biiig headache with boiler on the house we rented. The agency did not facilitate or defended us t any point. We paid way higher bills of electric defectuous boiler for months and will never see this money back again At the end of tenancy we stayed homeless because no boiler working in mid winter! The landlord only paid us hotel because WE ASKED to, woods agency never doing anything only increasing the rental on landlords interests. My husband works night shifts some days as geologyst at power plant and had to had cold baths after 12h work somedays because of boiler issues. I got sick many times because the house did not heat. Horrible. Dont ever recommend this agency. Missing info, very selfish!

Still to receive our deposit back, despite it exceeding the time stated in the contract. Deposit was also moved between different protection schemes during our tenancy without making us aware (illegal), which has made it very difficult to track down. Nobody seems to know the answer to anything at the branch, leaving ourselves to do all the chasing to get back the money we are owed. Wish I could give 0 stars.
