Rebecca in letting was a absolute superstar! We viewed two properties with her, her knowledge of the properties and local area was outstanding. I'm really not one for leaving negative reviews but I'm genuinely amazed this office successfully lets any properties at all. I would be concerned if I were a landlord using this company. We are so keen to move to Portishead and have made enquiries so many times on a number of properties. I have given up completely now as I've lost count how many promises I've received regarding call backs (that's if they answer the phone at all) I can't even get as far as a viewing - trying to get anything from anyone in this office is like getting blood from a stone. Please note if they say they'll call you back, they don't mean it.

I’ve phoned Wood estate agents in Portishead up to 10 times to enquire about a property in Nailsea. Not once has anyone picked up the phone from the sales side? I’ve left messages. I also contacted the letting department and ask them if they could get someone from sales to phone me back which did not happen. I’m at a loss how this company sells any properties as it doesn’t even seem to be anybody there to sell them. If I was selling a property, I would not be selling it with woods.

We cannot recommend Woods enough. Meg and Emily have been superb throughout the whole process and gone above and beyond to help us. This normally stressful situation has gone so smooth with any queries being dealt with quickly, with them always being on the end of the phone when needed. The sale of our house we cannot fault, we were advised, they listened to exactly what we wanted and produced a beautiful advert which all helped towards a quick and smooth sale. We are having such a very bad experience with Woods. We pay deposit for rent £400 and we make the enquiry for the touch up the house and cleaning before we move in and we have been waiting for 2 weeks for the landlord to answer but there is no answer about it during the waiting time we do the financing and other documents along and we just move to the UK from Thailand for 25 years (lived in Thailand) we clearly do not have the credit record in the UK and Woods asked us to give them the access to our bank account which is highly risk for us we don’t want to do it therefore we asked can we pay upfront 12 months we agree to rent and we agree to pay and they are the one to refuse us so clearly we cannot proceed …..and they don’t give the refund. What do you think about it. I have copy every emails as evidence. Our deposit is held even know we offer to pay upfront. Pls beware the credit check is mandatory and they will retain your deposit if fail to comply even you offer to pay upfront the full rent.
