GoogleNO STAR. ABSOLUTE HORRIFIC EXPERIENCE. Mould and damp in flat. Landlord gets arsey when repairs that aren't being done get asked for. Lack of contact between estate agent and myself. Condition of flat and stress nearly caused my cats death. Didn't give me adequate times to be able to let people in to view etc, causing me more stress. NOT TO FORGET - my tenancy ends 02/05/19 yet they're moving someone else in before that and failed to let me know until I called up 3 days before to ask how viewings were going seeing as I had to move out due to stress, mould, and fear of health issues. ALL THEY WANT IS YOUR MONEY THEY DO NOT CARE There's so so so so so much more wrong and horrible about it. I'm so ill with stress I've had to seek help from a Solicitor, which will be in contact with them soon.

I sold my bungalow recently with Rob and George. It was marketed within a couple of days and they had a buyer within 2 days. Nothing was too much trouble for them and they were always available when I needed any questions answered. I was very impressed at the length of time taken in answering my my emails or calls, as this was very important to me. I would recommend this company to anyone selling a home.

The cost of moving is expensive and the journey can be very stressful, but Rob and George took that stress away and gave us a professional service that was worth every penny. After using one agency to sell my property without getting anywhere for 2 months, I got impatient and signed up 2 other agencies including Carter Shaw to see what they could do. I was reluctant at first because I figured all buyers would use Rightmove anyway. One of the new agencies was useless with no communication and no viewings, but within an hour of speaking to Robert from Carter Shaw I had 2 viewings set up, many more over the next few days and a solid offer in the first week which we managed to exchange and complete on in under 6 weeks. I don't enjoy working with agencies because of all the nonsense that usually comes with it, but Carter Shaw was refreshingly hassle free, professional and acted with the urgency and pride in their work that you would want from someone selling your house on your behalf. What separates them from the rest is that they clearly care about their work and enjoy what they do.

Not holding a high opinion of Estate Agents, I was delightfully surprised by the professionalism and attention I got from Matt and George. When showing viewers around my property they were knowledgeable on my house and the neighbourhood, which has not been the case with different agents previously. Their presentation of my property on paper and on-line was to a high standard and with a care to detail. We had three offers and accepted one - moving in the very near future. The whole process has been smooth from start to finish, they have kept me updated with progress and what should normally be a stressful experience has been handled by true professionals.
