GoogleI've rented a property out through Carter Shaw for a number of years, and the management service has always been efficient. I was looking to add to my portfolio and Matt & George were able to find me a suitable Freehold house with tenants already living in the property, meaning I had rental income as soon as I completed. They were also recommended me a local solicitor to help get the purchase through in 8 weeks. Very Happy.

GoogleMoved in 2022, fire alarms not fitted just left in kitchen cupboards, mouldy and broken white goods left in place, thick mould on floors and walls. Was told it was inspected and nothing to worry about. Didn’t mind as we agreed we could carry out work to make the flat liveable and we love the area so moved in. In two years we have replaced our furniture over 4 times due to mould. 2024 come to move out, baring in mind we have spent over £1000 on flooring and decorating, carter shaw phone to tell me the decorating is not great. The walls are literally falling down and furry with mould, despite us cleaning them every week, which we have emailed countless times about to no avail. I also have doctors notes stating mould as a cause for an asthma attack. If Carter Shaw would like to say any of this is a lie I can attach emails and pictures. Avoid!

GoogleReally great service from George, Rob and team. Used Carter Shaw to sell our house this year and very pleased with them. They talk straight and not in estate agent cliches. Prompt feedback on all viewings and remained attentive after we’d secured a buyer to see the sale through to completion. Fee was competitive too. Would definitely recommend to others selling in the area.

GoogleDo not go through this estate agents! They are rude, self centred, and just geunuly not nice people. When ever I had a problem it would take forever for them to fix. They tried saying I caused lots of damage to the property when I lived there for a year and it was just generall wear and tear. Most of the 5 star ratings on here are from people that work there. Rather go through Dave wells bedsit then have to speak to these people again.
