Ian from Carter Shaw helped us to get our first dream home. His communications were excellent and he chased for progress and made things move in a difficult transaction. Even when there was no movement visible for us, Ian always has put our minds at ease with his expertise and excellent communication skills. We cannot recommend Ian enough!

GoogleMy daughter has lived in a property for 6 years, constant damp, mould bugs, had to replace beds, mattresses, wardrobes and clothes, carpet. Always told its her fault even though every flat in the block has the same problem. She is young with anxiety so does not want an issue but she is about to move out and they will try to take the deposit as they have done to others

I recently sold my home through Carter Shaw, with the incredible help and support of Ian Taylor - who I’ve used before for a sale and can’t personally recommend enough. Ian is hugely knowledgeable about property in the surrounding Bournemouth, Ringwood and Poole area, with great communication every step of the way. It was a genuine pleasure to work with him again and Carter Shaw. Altogether amazing first class experience.

GoogleWe used Rob to sell our property and couldn't recommend him and the rest of the Carter Shaw team highly enough. His honest appraisal of our property, enthusiasm & knowledge of the local area stood out above the other agents we had around to our home. Rob made sure the our sale went through as smoothly as possible by liaising with all involved in the chain and we felt nothing was too much trouble for him. I definitely intend on using them again in the future.

GoogleWhen a very close relative told me they had found a flat I was so delighted for them as this was their first flat to rent leaving their family home . Exciting times you think No From the minute off I realized they had made a terrible mistake going with this agent... I myself have rented for many years and all my experience with new landlords or agents have always been fantastic and so too the places I've rented. When he moved in the flat it was left dirty from previous tenants ... They informed him after taking his money and handing over the keys some one would be in to clean in a few days 5 days later after He ended up paying for the clean to be done himself thier cleaners turn up . It didn't stop their ..... Took 8 weeks or so too fix broken boiler so was without heating and hot water Someone called Tash i belive was aggresive threatened them with all sorts of action and was very rude Their was no need for her disturbing manorisum towards them This was the first time they have rented and it's really put them off... I'm sorry they had to experience this level of unprofessional conducted by this agent... Pls people be careful x

Ian Taylor was exceptional as my Estate Agent. He went above and beyond to support the sale of my flat which had some complications when buyers pulled out for personal reasons. He did a fantastic job of marketing the property, had excellent communications throughout the process to both myself and the potential buyers. Their service was exceptional, they kept us updated, reassured us (having not moved in 20 years) and eventually helped us move on to our new home. GoogleI have just brought a property through Carter Shaw. In the middle of a pandemic the whole process from seeing the property to moving in took 5 weeks. When small issues occured both Rob & George were able to act professionally, openly and sincerely. They liaised with solicitors and the seller without fuss and drama. The process as stated took the quickest time it could and this was certainly due to their professionalism. They did what they had to do and that little bit more. I highly recommend using this independent estate agency.

Helping push things forward, and also being super responsive. When I needed info, Rob had the answer. I cannot fault Carter Shaw (especially Rob) at all. GoogleI walked the length of Ashley Road talking to Estate Agents when my daughter needed to sell her flat. Carter Shaw were not the cheapest but not the most expensive either. As soon as I spoke to Rob I knew he would get the business and it turned out to be a wise choice. Rob conducted several viewings within the first couple of days and the flat was sold.....SIMPLE! Not so simple because that was the start of 5 months worth of solicitors dragging their heels and asking impossible questions etc. Without Rob's active participation and liaison through the entire process I don't think we we would have made it through to completion. That is the sort of service and support that an online agent couldn't provide. Our thanks go to Rob, George and their great little team at Carter Shaw.

The purchase of my property was a long process due to lease extensions and structural reports, however no issues caused or to do with the estate agents but Rob was extremely efficient in the whole process, he would keep on top of the solicitors and the seller and always give valid updates. He kept his patience along the whole process and I would extremely recommend him to anyone looking at buying/selling a property. When I picked up the keys it felt great to be warmly welcome in the office on Ashley road and all the staff were extremely friendly! All in all a 5 start service and will be using again.

GoogleCarter shaw are very good at what they do. Rob was incredibly helpful with selling our flat. When communication was poor between solicitors, he really helped to apply the pressure and get things moving. Responding to texts, calls and emails pretty much instantly really helped ease the stress of moving. Would highly recommend these guys to anyone as they truly do go above and beyond.
