This branch is incredible! We are in the process of purchasing a house through them and the whole team communicate so well that whenever we call they know who we are and what stage we are at. Kelsey, has gone above and beyond for us even stepping in and doing tasks for us which our William H Brown branch should have done for the sale of our property. She is always happy to talk to us and give us support in any area of purchase and sale. Such a shame that not all their branches are run as professionally as Pontefract!

From the beginning the quality of advice given by Joanne was excellent and took me down paths that I had not previously considered. Her obvious expertise convinced me and this ultimately led to me receiving a better price than I expected for the property. Julie Haigh has just done my mortgage and first class service doesn’t quite do justice! Julie explained everything thoroughly and made sure I was well informed about all of my options. Extremely happy with the mortgage deal secured - far better than an alternative broker had recommended only weeks before!! Nothing was too much trouble and I always felt in safe hands. Would highly highly recommend!! I hope Julie is still with Browns in 5yrs when I come round to remortgage :)

Absolutely stay away from these at all costs, never had so many lies from the start, false promises, rude staff who tried to bully me in which all this was captured, ended up taking way under the house value. To be told I wasn't allowed another estate to list, the list is endless, the only positive was Sophie who was respectful and listened to my views and my families views and is a credit to the company. Then to be then told on the day of sale I needed to leave my property as soon as the sale went through, was the middle of the chain and had a window to vacate(solicitor clarified this). Really think training should help these at this office as there customer service fully falls below par!!

we were promised all sorts but unfortunately these promises never materialised ! We were told they had people on their books looking for properties like we were selling & we wouldn’t have any trouble selling it ! Also we were told that William H Brown would be contacting us every week to give us updates ! Absolutely nothing !!! No phone calls,no updates NOTHING !!! Infact the only updates we received is when we contacted them !!!! Yes we are fully aware the housing market is going through a very difficult time but we feel William H Brown did nothing in terms of trying to sell our house & feel very let down & were sold down the river with all their promises.To say their fees were nearly £4,000 we did think they would do more than they did to try & sell the house & in deed they may have done,it’s just no one informed us what they did or were doing!!! I would say use another estate agent’s

Incredible experience doesn't do the work they've done justice to be honest. First time home buyer now owner, and I'd put a big chunk of that down to Connor at WHB Ponte. Throughout the entire experience it seemed like the only people really properly contacting and keeping me up to date were the team at WHB. - Fast - Reliable - Informative Some of the things I was lacking from my solicitor, were filled in by Connor, and with the stress that buying a house entails, some of it was subjugated by Connor. Highly recommend!

Selling a property with William h brown Pontefract has not been the best experience of our lives. Communication 2/10 infact we have had more communication from another estate agent in the time with have been with them. Had a problem where they even forgot to reduce the price of the property in the shop window and on social media. Full of promises to start with maybe its the market but we are not the only people in the local area that have found that William h brown to be lacking
