The process progressed in a timely manner, with the cost competitive, in buying all detail were provided and again it processed swiftly to it conclusion as expected. GoogleThey try to be helpful. Do your due diligence an the property as the write up for the property can be disingenuous, at least this was our experience. Dressed mutton as lamb. Importance of doing a more in depth survey when recommended to do a lighter one by recommended surveyor...pick your own and do your homework.
I am sorry the service you have received from us at Lawson has fallen below our usual standards. I have spoken to the staff on this matter, and I understand you had an unsatisfactory survey report on a property you were buying. This is unfortunate and not something we would want for any of our buyers or vendors. We were unaware of any specific issues with the property before marketing as we are not surveyors. We do feel the property is clearly advertised as a cottage with no reference to any renovation or structural work having been done. GoogleAny estate agent can market a property, what counts is the service and confidence in the ability to sell your house, and communicate with you on a regular basis. Lawsons do what they say they are going to do and you can't ask for more than that

GoogleWe recently bought our new home from the North Plymouth office. We were pleased they could offer Sunday viewings with Abby showing us around initially. Dealt with several members of the office during negotiations and they all were pleasant and professional. Ann was did a fantastic job with sales progression with a fairly complicated chain. Everyone was very quick to return with any queries we had. A good experience through whole journey.

GoogleI was full of hope and encouraged by some of the reviews for lawsons , Robourgh. Excited to start looking for our 1st home , after saving up for a deposit for several years , my partner and I had been looking for a place for our expanding family to lay some roots down. When registering with lawson we had certain criteria we gave them , and almost daily we were bombarded with properties outside of what we told them we were looking for . A 1 bed studio flat would be not be suffice for a couple with 2 children! Also at the other end of the spectrum , a 5 bed property costing in excess of half a million pound , is not normally what a 1st time buyer would be looking for. After finding a couple of places close together we'd like to view , we arranged a time and date with lawson . Upon entering the property and asking a few basic questions , it became apparent that no knowledge about any of the properties was available from the agents , its not even like the houses we looked at were new on the market. After that I was left feeling I had to inspect the property in more depth, only to be sniggered at by the agent. This happened on more than one occasion and by 2 separate "qualified " estate agents . After the second time of feeling belittled we took our custom elsewhere . Happy to say 3 other agents we viewed with were more professional and certainly more helpful , and from putting our offer in we are on track to be moved in before Christmas!

We had most estate agency firms in Plymouth come around and value our property, most of which spent most of the time regurgitating the same corporate tag lines such as “first time buyer centre”. Lawson is the only Estate agents that came round and had a genuine conversation with us and instantly built a foundation of trust and respect. Then to round off the relationship they came through and got us a good offer on our property within two weeks of it hitting the market. Thank you to everyone at Lawson for your professionalism a hard work.
