Really pleased with the service received from Gibbs Gillespie to sell my property. I was really impressed with the online portal to do the documentation, the on line advertising and boosting my property to the top of searches. Excellent updates following viewings and I received a notification when each viewing was arranged. After offer, great communication with a dedicated point of contact. Kasia kept me sane throughout the process from offer to completion. Of course the staff are the biggest asset. Jason, Patricia and Kasia make the perfect team. I’m pleased I went with them.

Leona was a massive help!

I spoke with Leona over the phone and then on emails where she clarified answers to our questions. Leona was a massive help assisting us with outstanding rent arrears, a breakdown of our invoices from our portal and also how the damages from our check out report can be claimed. If the claim is taken to an adjudicator, the damages are considered first, then the outstanding deposit second. We are however waiting to find out how much the charges are if we decide to take it to the Small Courts, once we find this figure out, then we will know whether it’s worth proceeding down this route or not. Without Leona’s help on this we would be unsure with our steps to take.

We had a good experience working with Gibbs Gillespie. Jo is friendly and professional. We had multiple viewings on the property before we decided to purchase it and she was always helpful and accommodating. At one point, we were a bit frustrated and felt there was a gap in communication because the sellers of the property(in a chain of four) had decided on a completion date that we were not aware of and we were under pressure to complete the exchange. The solicitors said the agency missed to communicate and the agency said the solicitors missed so. We are not sure what exactly happened but Patricia was very helpful and negotiated with the sellers and the chain on our behalf and ultimately, it all sorted out. We are thankful to Jo and Patricia for helping us with the whole process.

The team at Gibbs Gillespie have been great for the most part - the only reason for 4/5 is that there were some issues with getting the ad out and with one of the buyers who dropped out where communication could've been a bit clearer - but they were very on it and found a replacement buyer ASAP, so they delivered where it counts. Shout out to Patricia O'Sullivan there who was a big reason we managed to get a replacement buyer in just a couple weeks!
