Since it's launch in November 2012, the Petts Wood branch of Sinclair Hammelton has gone from strength to strength. The office is conveniently placed on the east side of the town to make the most of marketing opportunities aimed at the increasing numbers of buyers seeking homes within easy reach of Petts Wood station. The opening of the office reunites Paul Cook with an area where he worked for many years and he is enjoying the opportunity to meet clients old and new. Paul is joined by New Homes Manager, Kathryn Sinclair; Assistant Manager; Chris Smyth, Lettings Property Manager, Molly Dunn and the admin support of Sales Secretary, Jackie Ray. We can thoroughly recommend the Petts Wood branch. The whole process has been handled in a professional and friendly manner by Paul Cook who has kept us fully informed at all stages and made, what most people find a difficult experience, a pleasant journey. We have now exchanged and will be completing in a few weeks. We would have no hesitation in recommending this branch to our friends and family if they were thinking of moving.

GoogleI agree with a previous poster who described them as ‘unprofessional and untrustworthy’. Luke Goatley, the manager, fraudulently amended our contract after I had signed in an attempt to extract more money from us. To make matters worse, once we found the original unamended contract and caught him out, he lied repeatedly in an attempt to cover his tracks. I wish we’d taken him to court in retrospect.

I paid Sinclair Hammelton to manage a property for me. They failed to forward a succession of letters from the Council leaving me with a fine and a Court Summons as a result of their negligence. When I raised this, they tried to deny any responsibility despite the fact that all the letters had been sent to them and I had been paying them to manage the property.

I recently sold my property through Sinclair Hammelton and found all of the staff to be very professional and friendly, keeping, very much, the personal service. Nothing was too much trouble, all of the chasing of all parties was carried out very efficiently and, importantly, a good line of communication was in place.
