Vile vile vile company the senior letting manager is beyond rude who continually over speaks you and will openly argue with you. Any issues are always made to feel are your fault - we absolutely love our home but are leaving because of the utter disgraceful customer service from them. Interestingly most of the poor reviews are down to the customer service which I feel speaks volumes about them...it proves it’s them with the issue..

DO NOT USE SHARMAN QUINNY IN STAMFORD!!!! our landlord was unfortunately selling the property we had been in 10 years so it was a really tough time for us and we needed a property ASAP!! so we found a property not far from where we currently where and instantly fell in love with it, unfortunately the property was being let by Sharman Quinney, little did we know how terrible our experience was going to be.For starters the agent turned up late to the viewing and didn’t even introduce herself so we didn’t know her name until my dad had to ask her what her name was. My dad asked what the next steps were and instantly wanted to put a holding deposit down as he loved the property and we were running out of time to get a place, the agent said she had to contact the landlord and would get back to us straight away. 2 weeks later, after multiple chasing of the agent and hearing nothing and just being told the agent wasn’t available every time we rang, we finally got the go ahead from the agent.We were just happy to have the property we wanted, even though the agent was rude and belittling. so we got in the property and as a few weeks went by a few things started popping up, like having no hot water, no heating, problems with the pump in the shower, which my dad had to fix himself with his own money as Sharman Quinney were not responding, we moved in the the house in September it is now November and only just had somebody come out to look at the boiler. We have now been told there has been a gas leek since we moved in which we didn’t know about, we have no evidence of any gas safety ( no paper copy of any documents in paper form when we collected keys) so we are now back to no hot water or heating as we have had to turn the boiler off as it’s seriously dangerous.We have had no help, nobody within the Lettings team in that Stamford branch care about the service they are providing to there customers, it’s disgusting and unprofessional.

Very casual and unprofessional behaviour!!!. Lost my daughters keys and asked her to let them into her property, Sharman Quinney arrived late and the viewer was nowhere to be seen. The estate agent then rang the would be viewer, who wanted to reschedule, but this was too late!!!, time had been taken off work and these estate agents are unreliable and come up with every excuse for their lax behaviour!!!. DO NOT use them!!!. My daughter has been on their books six months and this was the first viewing in that time, which they still couldn't get right!!!!!.

Avoid Avoid Avoid at all cost! Put our property up for sale, loads of promises what they were going to do, how many people they had waiting to view our property. Talked into a sole agency, got all signed up then NOTHING not one view in months. Tried to talk to them to progress things and just received arrogant responses. No Not Use!

Terrible letting agency, would never recommend them. Staff are not helpful at all and don't seem to care. Spent 1 year as a tenant with them and it was more than enough. Never replied back to emails or call me back. Don't pursue to sort issues out. We was chasing constantly, we ended up waiting around for viewings that never happened. Was even asked on one occasion to show a tenant round as they had double booked then didn't show anyway! Even if its the home of your dreams I would avoid at all costs.

GoogleWe sold our house using this agent and were not happy with the time it took to sell and price we ended selling it for. The agent was confident the house would sell for around 20% more than final price. However, we had to pay commission that was originally agreed for the higher price. They claimed that they have customers looking for houses in our area, but brought very few viewing perhaps due to discouraging buyers with requests for all personal information. Several houses in worse condition with smaller land and worse location have sold for higher price while our house was advertised with them. Due to sole agency agreement we couldn’t switch to another agent. We asked for the sign not to be raised in front of our house, but they ignored us and did it anyway. We also bought the house through them previously and at that time their solicitors didn’t pass cashback from bank to us. Overall, best to avoid- overpriced and incompetent.

Whittlesea branch I think. Unprofessionalism from the rental dept from exactly the day after I signed the contract, as landlord I can't believe these people are employed. Incompetent, unprofessional, lazy, most definitely need to learn the difference between advice and threatening behaviour on their part.

GoogleWe were very interested in a house they were representing. We put in an offer and waited 4 days. We were told in the mean time we had to visit with there mortgage advisor. We expressed that we did not require their services and were told it was only to verify our finances (or agreement in principle). After not hearing about our offer, we were told that the seller would not agree to anything before meeting with their advisor and that we'd need 6 months of financial documents to support our offer. Now there is no way in hell this is required and seems like a shoddy way to get us to use their services. We expressed this and were told it was the only way the offer would go forward. We were also given excuses such as "They aren't sure they really want to sell." "They may want more money but need to see if you can support your original offer." At this point, not willing to release our personal info to the company without any confirmation on if our offer was accepted we asked to withdraw our offer. They refused to withdraw it and said they would call us back. We found this incredible and will avoid Sharman Quinney from here on out.

GoogleWas refused a viewing on a property based on the fact I didn't want (or importantly need) to use their mortgage advisor. I showed them a mortgage in principle but this wasn't enough. I was refused a look at one of their properties. I wrote a letter to their head office, their reply was that they didn't care (I have a copy of the letter still) and the branch I complained about rang me telling me I had lied. Zero stars! I will never buy or sell a house through Sharman Quinney.

GoogleBullish, Harrassing and the epitome of bad estate agents. Would not leave me alone. I have posted this on my friends account so they don't go after me again. I'm disgusted at the sales tactics these people use to try and get your sale from you. Forcing you to speak to their mortgage advisor, pressuring you to go with them... Sharman Quinney Stanground need to go back to sales school and realise that you don't have to pressurise and bully people to get the stats in - Sales tactics are so incredibly see-through and OLD!! Don't use them!!!!!

GoogleUnreliable company, saying that property is ok, and on purchase day gave keys with note slip that there is no gas, electricity, boiler doesn't work. And now is not their responsibility. Check everything with this company, don',t trust their word, unhelpfull people. Poor service.

Terrible, terrible agent and services. The branch manager asked me to pay twice a re-let cost, without checking if I had paid already. I strongly believe they never mentioned any of my issues and proposals regarding my tenancy to the landlord. Even he admitted he had no idea. Never again with them. You think I'm wrong? Challenge me. I've got all the emails to prove what I'm saying.

GoogleProbably loved it is not the phrase i'd use for house buying, however 5 stars should be given for sure. And its true Estate Agents get some bad press and there where aspects of the purchase which could of been improved upon and these where noted and discussed as and when, credit where credit's due, if you get to get to use this particular branch of Sharman Quinney you are in the right hands, unfortunately the previous owner of the property we purchased, was the most disorganized idiot you could ever wish to have dealings with, in particular credit also needs to be given to Joanne the lady who handled our transaction, she acted in the most professional manor attempting to keep us informed when required and information could be extracted from the seller and their sorry excuse for solicitors they chose to use. I wish the team at Stanground Sharman Quinney Estate Agents all the very best for the future....

They won't let you view a property unless you 'go in and give us your details' - they point blank refused to allow me to see a property because I wouldn't go in to give my personal information away because of so called 'due diligence' for the seller. I haven't even seen the property yet!!!! How diligent is refusing a viewing for a seller!? Time wasters.
