GoogleEverything has beginning when estate agent inform us about STC house will be again available for sale because the vendor is not happy whith the previous buyer because the sale process is too slow, and as we look to buy a house, we can make on offer. After ours offer has been accepted, we start to spend money on all procedures(1690£).Few days before to exchange the contract,the vendors has had decided to not sale any more because they don't have were to move.When we've ask estate agent, why we didn't konw about from beggining, said that she thought we will not accept to buy the house!!NegativeQuality
Good Morning Mr Ionutz. We are really sorry that the sale fell through and that you are left disappointed. We do understand that as the selling agent when things like this happen we will always come across as the bad guys and that we were in the wrong. I would like to clarify a couple of points. We were instructed by the vendors in good faith to market and sell their property. We arranged as you know several viewings on the property to which we were in receipt of multiple offers. The original buyer applied for his mortgage and due to being self employed when his full mortgage application was submitted the lender asked for several further documents which subsequently came with delays. Our vendors had agreed to buy a property through another local agency and were concerned with the time that the original buyer was taking. The vendors then accepted your offer and everything was running smoothly and I had no concerns with how the sale was proceeding with yourselves. My vendors had paid for survey fees, search fees and emotionally committed themselves to moving their family into their next home.Out of the blue and very late on in the transaction the house our vendors were buying fell through which sadly none of us had any control over. My vendor was left very upset by this and were unable to find another property within their budget. You offered to give them a month to find a new property. They tried within that time period to find another property but sadly this did not happen and in order to not mess you around further they confirmed that they are no longer moving and will stay in their current property. When marketing a property if the vendor is not buying on we will always advertise the property as NO FORWARD CHAIN this is because this is a brilliant selling point. There has been no misrepresentation from our agency and at no point was the property advertised as no forward chain. All parties including ourselves are disappointed that we were unable to see this through to completion. We sincerely wish you the best of luck and hope that you find your next home very soon. GoogleFitzjohns handled the sale of our home in Longthorpe recently and we couldn't recommend them highly enough. Paul Barlow in particular was excellent. Always responsive, proactive, and really helpful. Kept us calm when we were pushing for completion and worrying and whingeing about progress! We transferred to Fitzjohns after a few months with a different agency who didn't get us any results. Fitzjohns gave us great advice about a more realistic valuation, and we were quickly inundated with visits. I wish we'd gone with Fitzjohns from the beginning, but happy now that it is all completed. Professional, approachable, knowledgeable, responsive, everything we needed them to be.

GoogleI thoroughly recommend using Fitzjohn which is ironic considering they didn’t actually sell my house!! They sold the house I bought and did everything possible to get the sale through, my actual estate agent really didn’t earn their fee. Nothing was too much trouble and an extra special shout out goes to Hollie, the loveliest woman, we wouldn’t have got there without her. If you want to sell your house go see Hollie in Hampton and you’ll be golden 😊

I found all staff at Fitzjohn attentive and they were keen to meet my requirements. Sorry to hear your displeasure, however the vendor has the right not to proceed as you hold the same right. Sadly they no longer wish to sell, There is not a lot we can do if they decide to stay. we too miss out on earning our fee so clearly you can see that we would not want this to happen. so thank you for the 1 star review

Would not recommend Fitzjohn as a overall experience they sold the property but our circumstances changed so had to withdraw due to financial reasons they were great on the bases trying to gain the sale (There’s two sides to most people)but know there’s a penalty off £500 as stated in the terms and conditions which is fair but doesn’t have a facility to take a card payment all we can afford is to pay credit card at this moment in time (this isn’t pointed out in the terms and conditions) now we are having voicemails saying it’s being taken to a small claims court ..WOULDN’T RECOMMEND I haven’t questioned your ability I’ve questioned your Integrity ringing a lady that has lost her husband and who is frail and informing her you would be taking it to a small claims court ..
Matthew, Your mother withdrew from the sale of her property after months of marketing and sales chasing by us, your buyer had spent 100's getting to a point which they offered to exchange contracts, we as a company invested heavily in your mothers move after she had tried to sell with 2 another agents unsuccessfully, this is why we suggest in our terms that there is a withdrawal fee should you pull out after agreeing an offer and asking us to do all this for you,(we are no sale agreed no fee) We do not have a card reader as all our payments are bank transfers and there are cost to have such a device which would then need to be added to your bill. I have offered you this method along with cheque or cash, but you have not offered any other option, I have had no answer to my calls or emails to arrange a payment plan and now you have chosen to leave us this review, I am free 7 days a week to talk to but ignoring us does not help, I am also happy to meet at the property on Buckthorn road should this help. So to recap your review is that we are great at selling property but two star for not having a card reader!!!
