Maria and Kristy, Today we have exchanged on our sale and purchase - hooray! It's been such a long time coming and I felt like I needed to email to let you know how amazing you have both been through what has been a difficult journey. From the very start you have been on hand whenever I've needed to run something past you and have been on hand to deal with my constant mithering (sorry, sorry, sorry). Kristy stepped in superbly when Maria was on holiday and was genuinely pleased for us when we found our next home, I think we all cried together. Maria has been constantly chasing buyers, solicitors, the whole chain, and has kept in regular contact. The stories I have heard about other estate agents, well they need to come to Simon Blyth! You have earned every penny of that commission. So...….just wanted to say a massive thank you to you both. You have made a very stressful situation easier. Maria was our contact and she was amazing, her representation for us made the whole experience as easy and stress less as can be. Maria was the hub of communication for the chain and the legal side, keeping everyone in the loop at all times. 72% one star - is that a record!? Absolutely agree with the other reviews - awful firm, hugely regret not reading these first. Extremely poor contact, rushed around to get me to reduce the price before a suspicious offer (that I was serially misinformed about the nature of), I felt that they were working for the buyer rather than me? Absolute waste of time and then they refused to remove a knowingly false advert on Rightmove (Rightmove are removing it). 'Avoid' doesn't even begin to describe it.Repeatedly asked them to engage - they repeatedly ignored! weird!

The team at Simon Blyth's Penistone were fantastic throughout the sale of my old property and the purchase of my new home. David made the process of deciding how best to market the property very easy and helped ensure the property looked and sounded its best. Maria was fantastic ensuring all the parties came together to process the sale/purchase as quickly as possible, not an easy job for her at times!! I let a shop through Simon Blyths in…

I let a shop through Simon Blyths in January 2024. They never asked the tenant for a deposit, I am still awaiting a physical and fully signedcopy of a lease over two months after the tenant got the key from Simon Blyth lettingsservice. I paid for their legal drawing up of a lease and neither myself nor my tenant have a copy despite asking several times. They also never carried out an identity check on the tenant, never asked for references and didn't even bother asking for their home address. A shoddy, shoddy and expensive experience. I will never use Simon Blyth lettings service again and hope to warn others of their lazy, rude and unpleasant services.
