Every member of the Team delivers exceptional customer care with every aspect of my contract from marketing, Tenancy checks, renewals, rental statements, inspections & Tenants’ call outs. They are fantastic communicators, deal with all actions in a timely manner & they manage my Tenants & me with consideration & care. Thacker & Revitt have worked hard to develop a sublime list of Preferred Suppliers to handle any call outs. They clearly ensure that everyone on their list prices the jobs fairly. All call outs are attended to swiftly & carried out to a high standard. I particularly like the fact that Thacker & Revitt use mostly local, family run businesses for call outs & maintenance jobs. When renting from them, they are lovely, however after you leave they are horrible. I had my check out done by Martin who was extremely rude, and cold, and was also late. Also, i had 1 very important letter delivered to my old address that i was not expecting, i called them to ask if i could get it as it was important, i was told they would have to see if they 'still had keys' and get back to me, obviously they never got back to me, i called another 2 times and had no correspondence back, i had my mother call while i was out of town, she spoke to Asia who again was extremely rude to her. After a month had gone when Terry finally called to say he had my post at the office, and was not going to forward to my new address, we had to collect it, so again my mother went as i am out of town, and he first of all questioned my name on the post (it was my name) and was rude once again. I have never come across more rude and arrogant people after you leave their services in my life. Good luck to anyone who is thinking of leaving their rented properties.

Martin and Heather have been looking after my Rental property since 2003, before they set up Thacker and Revitt, when I moved with them. The professional service and expertise given by everyone is first class and very much appreciated. The property has been constantly let, with very good tenants, and when there have been problems they have been dealt with quickly without fuss , with minimal or better still no involvement from me. I have complete faith in the service provided and happily give my strongest recommendation to anyone looking for a letting agent. You will not be disappointed. It is important to remember it is Martin and Heathers business and as such it really shows in the level of service provided.

I have used Thacker and Revitt for nearly 11 years, since I first started out as a naive landlord. Martin and Heather have supported me from the very beginning. Starting out with helping which houses/flats to buy, with the pros and cons of each. I had initially rung around quite a few lettings agents, who were relatively disinterested in answering my probing/ naive questions, but when I first spoke to Martin I knew immediately that we would work well together. He advised me through the whole process, even viewing properties with me and always giving his honest opinion. When I go on holiday I trust him implicitly to make decisions on my behalf, knowing that he knows how I think and what I would say, without the need to ask me. I would also like to add that he works equally hard for the tenants. Many a time he has convinced me to do things with the properties for the benefit of the tenants, if I resist he usually always talks me around, selling me the benefits of perhaps a new boiler, carpet, central heating installation or just an extra cupboard in the kitchen. Not things that would make my life easier, but things that makes the tenants life easier/better. I respect that, and in return he always finds excellent tenants who respect the place they're renting, which is crucial to a successful partnership between the three parties. Lastly, I'd like to add that they have an excellent back up of plumbers and electricians etc, so I never have to worry if jobs need doing. I am extremely pleased with the service that Thacker and Revitt offer, and have no hesitation in recommending them to family and friends.

I have been extremely impressed with the service offered by Thacker & Revitt - they have truly been a breath of fresh air! In less than 24 hours of picking up the keys from another agent, Terry viewed the property, placed it on Rightmove and secured suitable tenants! He was really positive, professional and nothing was too much trouble. Asia and Marta are really helpful and responsive too. Lastly, it’s much welcomed to be able to sign and return documents electronically. I have already recommended them to family! Sweet dog too!

If you’re thinking of using a Letting Managing Agent don’t hesitate, look no further. Martin and Heather (Partners) have been looking after our investment property since it was purchased in 2003. First this was as employees of a well known agency chain and we then moved the property to them after they set up independently, when the service we received at the agency chain fell dramatically on their departure. It is their business and the level of service reflects this and shines through in every way. Over the years there have been a number of problems with tenants/neighbours/property and the common sense hands on approach to solving these has been great and very much appreciated. It is also worth mentioning in that time the property has been let almost continuously and with well chosen and carefully screened tenants. They and their great staff have my highest recommendation. It is now December 2021 and my opinion remains the same. They are a superb managing agent and they continue to offer a service which is beyond expectations. Don’t hesitate you won’t be disappointed.
