TrustpilotVery Unfriendly Team, Delayed Construction, Not giving Full Information
We are in the middle of purchasing a home with the Berkeley group. Their customer service team has been very disappointing, hounding us for our bank accounts every day, and not allowing us to know the precise measurements of our home. We are so sad as this will be our first home purchase, but its tainted with this absolutely negative and unhelpful customer service.

TrustpilotWonderful Experience!
Members of St. Williams have really done a great job in helping me to acquire and settling in the new home. From Mitchell of the sales team who provided clear and honest information of the property, to Sarah of the customer relation team who carried out excellent after-sales service including home demonstration, minor defects rectification and appliances fitting-in. The whole journey is perfect. Worth mentioning the materials/appliances used by St Williams are also cool. All in all, the new property is pleasing.

TrustpilotExcellent Company
Excellent Company. In my 25 year property career we have completed on thousands of apartments. Dealing with Berkeley Homes was the best experience I have had. The customer service was excellent. The specification and level of finish in the apartment and as importantly the communal was second to no company. If all the completion experiences were like this my working life would be much easier

TrustpilotNew build in Camberley
New build in Camberley, doors and windows are terrible, so much draught and leaking, ruined the window seal. The doors have such a strong draught you can feel it the other end of the room. I have had them out 5 times and they have said it’s the best they can do and I have to I’ve with it. I can not tell you how disappointed I am. I will never recommend them and can’t wait until my fix mortgage is done so I can sell.

TrustpilotHorrible experience
I have lived at Carrara Tower (250 City Road) for the last six months. My personal experience of living here is horrible. What is bad1. No cleaning windows. They have dozens of reasons why they can not clean the windows, including weather conditions. If you want to enjoy a beautiful view through a dutty window, you can leave here and enjoy it2. The spa and pool facilities do not work for more than two months. Why can anyone not fix the issue with the spa? We can not even imagine the problem3. The lifts constantly have troubles4. The couriers can not easily reach your floor cause there is no explicit instruction for that, and in some lifts even no title on the buttons. We need to explain to couriers in the lifts how to use them each time.5. The ceiling has been leaking for two months, and there is no way to fix the problemWhat is good1. Friendly staff

TrustpilotKnowingly breaking the law with an unliveable home, and not resolving it.
They are breaking the law and have been contacted by the council multiple times. They are in breach of their property contracts too. It has been ~4 months and still has not been resolved. Clearly Berkeley do not look after their customers properly when you have a problem with your home, so be very careful before you buy. Our homes have been unliveable for ~4 months and it’s disgraceful it hasn’t been resolved yet. My home and my neighbours’ homes are being polluted with odours and Berkeley are refusing to properly or swiftly resolve the situation. It’s not right that your home is flooded with odour which means you cannot live in your home. It is not right that you cannot even open your windows. This might happen to you and you might go 4+ months will no resolution at all. Who knows how long they will continue to break the law and be in breach of property contracts?

TrustpilotWe’re so happy with everything!
Our whole journey has been amazing! From the sales team Cara, Jade and Mitchell on helping us find our first home, the process stress free and they were always there to help out. We got such a warm and lovely welcome from Sarah when we moved in. She’s helped us settle in and has always been there for anything we need. Her team, Ellie, Nick and Vio have been incredible as well, they all have gone above and beyond to make our home perfect! We can’t fault anything, highly recommend, we’re so happy with everything!

TrustpilotExcellent experience start to finish
I have bought a flat in the Horlicks Quarter. The experience from start to finish has been smooth and all the staff have been professional and approachable. Problems have been handled well and attended to without issue. The online information portal is fantastic. A few bits of information wasn't available on the portal, but was provided very quickly when requested

TrustpilotPoor quality for brand new flat
We moved into our brand new flat (Grand union) near Wembley in October, but within two months there were so many defects in our flat. The floor heating does not work from the time of check-in. The property has sent workers to repair it five times to make it work. The light in the closet is broken, some of the outlets in the bedroom are broken, and unexpectedly the handle on the front door broke within a month. Recently, when we taking a bath, the hot water will suddenly become cold. Two groups of people have been sent, but it is still not fixed. I thought Berkeley was a very big real estate company, but the quality of the houses was really really BAD!!!

TrustpilotBorderline Modern Slavery - don't sell land to them
This company should not be sold land to EVER!!Look at the Glass door reviews - the staff are bullied, overworked, understaffed, HSE should be a regular visitor! If someone does not obey, they are fired on the spot - please don't buy their overpriced houses designed for rich overseas clients. Boycott by not buying houses and not selling them land. There are so many better builders.

TrustpilotBerkeley Homes talk rubbish
Berkeley Homes have just bought up swathes of greenfield land adjoining the village I live in, and are planning to triple it in size by building 1,800 houses, wanted by no-one here. So why does their website say 'We are committed to creating a better environment within our developments and in the areas that surround them. That's why we build on brownfield sites whenever we can, bringing new life to disused and unloved spaces. We take care to protect the natural environment and enhance biodiversity'. They clearly do not care about any of these things.

TrustpilotA Great Human Asset in your Company
Tanya helped me with the selection of materials like those for the doors and the carpets patiently. She also helped me arranged the workers for the installation of curtains and the house cleaner to collect the keys to the house. She also helped me settle the issues of applying for public utilities like water, gas and electricity. She also makes use of her off working hours to help me settle everything related to my house and answer all my questions in WhatsApp. So she gives me strong confidence of your company and the condition of my house. Thx a lot for arranging Tanya to ease my worries. Thanks a billion🙏😊

TrustpilotThe worst company to potentially work…
The worst company to potentially work for. The whole process took around two months- interviews, then being formally offered a position. They offered me the position (a conditional offer- proof of right to work, references, passed vetting and DBS checks) given a contract, which was signed- then handed in my notice. Was pushed to start before the Christmas period, they approved the resignation and gave me everything that I needed to do before my start date- then two weeks before I am due to start, they withdraw their offer due to ‘financial climate’ and not being able to pay my salary as I am ‘too skilled’- left me with no secure job before the Christmas period. The worst company to potentially work for, have no compassion or care- then tried to turn it all around on me saying I shouldn’t have handed in my resignation. The worst company to work for! Do not join Berkeley!!

TrustpilotI am completely satisfied with my new build house by Berkeley Group
I am completely satisfied with the overall experience I received throughout the purchase, completion and defect resolution process. It is a very delightful journey of property purchase, especially to people who move to a new place (country) like us. Special compliment to Seema (Senior Customer Relations Manager), Jemima (Customer Service Manager) and Clive (Customer Service Manager), we were so impressed by the warm welcome that we received from all three of them upon completion. Following by a thorough home demonstration by Clive, it definitely helped us to settle down nicely. Although there was a roof leakage and some minor defects in the house which brought us slight inconvenience, we were still very impressed by the prompt reactions of the customer service team, they handled our case seriously and help us to resolve the problem really fast that the leak seems never really happened. We are happy to have chosen to purchase Hartland Village as our new home in UK and are truly grateful to have Seema, Jemima, Clive and the wonderful CS team to take very good care of us. I have no doubt to recommend Berkeley Group to other family members and friends which I know. P.S. With my strong recommendation, my mum has actually purchased a house in Phase 2 of Hartland Village as well recently, she looks forward to start a wonderful journey of village life here soon.

Bought a new home with three severe problems. Uneven floors. I know there's a tolerance but I'm surprised by how an issue that a spirit level check can find out is ignored. Water leak on the first floor bathrooms. water comes in through the ground floor kitchen lights one week after move in. They refuse to replace the carpet and flooring. Sealants and grout start to fall out in kitchen and bathrooms. Slow response from them after complaint.
