I dealt with Penny and Sinclair for two short lets for my five-month stay in Oxford. Amber Littlechild was professional and courteous and was very helpful in every step of the process. Amber met me at the flat each time to deliver and pick up the keys and was available every time I needed assistance in between. I was also refunded my security deposit in a timely way without undue waiting. I would certainly lease through them again!

Communication with them is difficult, they are micromanaging the guests which is intrusive of privacy and frustrating throughout the stay.
We're sorry to read your review, as it doesn't reflect the experience we aim to provide. We were somewhat surprised by your comments, particularly as you have chosen to book a return stay with us for 54 nights commencing in early September and have left us a five-star review on Airbnb. Throughout your stay, we responded promptly to your queries and worked hard to assist with any requests you raised. On a number of occasions, we also contacted you regarding property security after the house was left unsecured while unoccupied, with windows left wide open and the rear gate left open. As managing agents, we have a responsibility to protect both our clients' properties and guests' belongings. The additional cleaning service you requested during your stay was arranged as requested. When the associated invoice remained outstanding, we followed our normal payment process, including seeking assistance through Airbnb. Unfortunately, the subsequent communication became difficult. We always welcome constructive feedback and strive to provide a professional service while balancing the needs of both our guests and our property owners. We wish you well and look forward to welcoming you back for your upcoming stay.

GoogleWe started selling our house when the market was not good. Penny and Sinclair did their best but it was not the right moment. Added to that we had not found anywhere else to go... When we did find a suitable property the market had improved so we tried selling again. Lizanne and Kate were very proactive in looking for clients. They worked tirelessly bringing a great number of possible buyers to see quite an unusual house and, in spite of a number of setbacks, eventually their perseverance was rewarded. We are very grateful.

GoogleExcellent experience from beginning to end of tenancy (lasting about 3 years)... AND thereafter. The agents were always smiling, responsive, accurate and helpful. All in all highly professional with a warm, personal touch. The transactions were always easy. The agents were also flexible, very open to our having direct contact with the owners but ready to help out as needed with any special circumstance or negotiation. The surveys were extremely detailed and professional. Repairs were undertaken swiftly and without any undue questioning. Whilst we were on the easy side as tenants, they maintained the same standards for more demanding tenants we knew. A special mention to Naomi Everett who was amazingly pleasant and efficient throughout and went over and above duty long after our tenancy had lapsed, personally going through the house and finding curtain rods we'd left behind, as well as helping us recover gardening items similarly left behind. I should unhesitatingly give Penny and Sinclair our house to sell or let in the future and highly recommend them as an agency. We dealt with several agencies, although only in the search and acquisition process, and they seemed the best and the most transparent, successfully establishing a win-win situation for tenant and owner. Well done.

We had an excellent experience with Penny & Sinclair, regarding both selling our old house and buying a new one, which completed a small chain. Our estate agent, Joe Worsell, was wonderful from the moment he showed us the house we ended up buying. Being polite and friendly, but impartial and professional, he earned our trust from the very beginning, so we were more than happy for him to manage the sale of our old house. We were prepared for a scenario that the house wouldn't sell fast enough, but it was done really quickly (and on top of that amidst a holidays season), we had 2 offers within 3 weeks. Joe continued to guide us further throughout the process, being always available, always happy to help, often going out of his way to provide the information and help that we needed. GoogleI can't recommend Lizanne and her team at Penny & Sinclair highly enough - and I am someone who is not easily impressed ;) They combine a high degree of professionalism with great enthusiasm - and, after excellent experiences on my last three sales, I didn't even think about asking another agent to sell my house on this occasion. Once again, I have been hugely impressed with the quality of their service at every stage - from initial consultation with Lizanne, photography and meeting all team members who would be doing viewings, to arranging/following up on viewings and chasing solicitors. As previously, they secured excellent buyers very quickly, and achieved a very good price for my house (and this time in a very difficult market). I have also been looking for a property to buy, and have therefore had very recent experience of a number of Oxford agents - and Penny & Sinclair come out tops again.

FacebookJust spent over 2 weeks in Oxford in a Penny & Sinclair property. Georgia and Judith were great to work with. Professional in every way. 15 Barclay House in Summertown is a lovely property. Immaculately clean with all the mod cons. It gets the afternoon sun, so it’s very warm in the summer, but I’m sure it would be welcome warmth in the other months. They do have fans. The flat is just above Marks & Spencer with pubs and restaurants nearby, including one with a Michelin Star, The Oxford Kitchen! Just around the corner on South Parade is Pompette, not to be missed. And to make it even better, Penny & Sinclair have an office in the next block. Couldn’t be more convenient. Highly recommend Penny & Sinclair.

We approached Penny & Sinclair when my family needed short-term accommodation in Oxford this summer. Over three months, we stayed in two areas, Jericho and Summertown, and right from the start, it was outstanding. Georgia Guy, who's in charge of short lets, made everything easy for us, from moving in to leaving. She and her team found the perfect lets for us in no time, understanding exactly what we needed.Throughout both stays, we were in the good hands of Georgia, Emily, and Amber. They paid attention to the little things that mattered to us, especially since we were there with our two daughters. Their prompt responses and the initiative they took to ensure our comfort made it clear they understood the nuances of a travelling family's needs.Getting our deposit back was no hassle at all, and they did so with the highest level of professionalism. What also stood out was how they planned our check-out around our hectic schedule, which meant one less thing to worry about.Penny & Sinclair aren't just doing business. They genuinely care, and it shows in how they treat you. It's like they're welcoming you into a community, not just renting you a place to stay. Joe Worsell was friendly, kind, helpful and understanding. When things got really tough for me despite others not always keeping him and me 'in the loop' he took a calm measurerd approach which was really helpful. He's a cheerful, friendly person and really does listen which is really important as alot of people come accross as good listeners but in reality they are not.

We first appointed Penny and Sinclair as agents to sell my mother in law’s property and based on the positive experience we went back to them when we came to sell our house. Our Sales Manager Joe Worsell was highly personable as well as extremely professional, efficient and knowledgeable, especially when the chain below us collapsed and our original buyer had to pull out.
