Worst Estate Agents in Doncaster. Promise a lot deliver zero. Unprofessional. Whether Landlord or Tenant stay well away is our advice. Most unpleasant Rude Staff ever had the unfortunate Experience of. Only have to see Trust Pilot reviews are as about as low as you get, which is telling in itself. Go to this ''outfit'' at your peril, you have been warned.

Possibly the worst letting agency I’ve ever dealt with, and that’s saying something after seven years of private renting. Avoid them, particularly the West Derby branch. From the very start of my tenancy through to months after it ended, it was one issue after another. Communication was consistently poor, and when replies did come through, they were often unprofessional and poorly written. When I did manage to contact them by phone, the attitude was consistently rude and unprofessional. Maintenance issues I reported were left unresolved for weeks. On more than one occasion, people turned up at my flat for inspections that were never scheduled or communicated to me. Even after I had moved out, a contractor contacted me a month later to fix an issue I had reported a week before leaving (which says a lot about how badly things were managed). My deposit was and still is unfairly withheld, and overall the experience was extremely frustrating and stressful. The only positive moment was being let back into the flat when I locked myself out once, and that felt like it was down to one helpful individual rather than the company as a whole.

GoogleOliver Saxton (Olly) went above and beyond to help us sell our house and was the consumate professional throughout. In particular, his clear and consistent communication during the process was hugely appreciated and set him apart from agents we've used in the past - it made the process far less stressful. We wouldn't hesitate to use Olly and the team at Knight Frank again and would certainly recommend them.

GoogleWe can not recommend Harry and his colleagues highly enough. They were professional, personable and sold our gorgeous but quirky house with amazing care and attention. They spent real quality time understanding the quirks and what we needed and were exceptional at dealing with our prospective buyers. GoogleSuddenly finding ourselves with a dated property to sell, we approached three Oxford agents for advice. Two were keen to get the house listed straight away, but only Knight Frank encouraged us to maximise its value by taking a longer-term approach. By advising us to obtain planning permission before listing for sale and guiding us through the lengthy process we eventually sold the property for far more than it would have otherwise obtained. William Kirkland from Knight Frank's Oxford office was the complete professional, with just the right level of contact in addition to being an invaluable source of friendly advice and encouragement. Highly recommended.

GoogleFirst class service from Harry Sheppard and the team in Summertown. Harry is undoubtedly a real expert in the market - prior to instruction, he was able to provide highly relevant examples of recent sales, with a reassuringly transparent process and fee structure. Throughout the short time it took Harry to sell my house, the communication and advice from him was excellent, and things could not have proceeded more smoothly. I would not hesitate to recommend Knight Frank - and in fact have done so already!

GoogleI bought my first property with Knight Frank in 2016 and then sold it through them in 2024 when I had moved from Oxford. They have been with me on this journey, right from the beginning. I had the efficient and wonderful support of William Kirkland and the lovely knight frank Oxford team ensuring that viewings took place, the sale progressed , despite a bad market and that I received appropriate advice at all stages as a first time seller. They were always co operative and communicative, and handled the sale smoothly while I was away from Oxford. I recommend them wholeheartedly.

Trash. Keep reporting repairs and they’re not fixing anything. Moreover they say oh we cannot find your e-mails in any of our inboxes. Property full of mold, attic full of damp. Told them I want financial compensation or rent reduction from landlord and told them they have 48 hours to come back with an answer. No answer so I’ll take them to court because by the law I can claim for disrepair. Bye!

GoogleI have enough confidence in Harry Sheppard and his approach to the business of overseeing the sale of our house to write the following. Harry has been excellent in responding to our frequent enquiries and if he is not on the end of the phone he will return your call by the end of play that day. Ditto e-mail. He handled the buying clients extremely well and there is no doubt he had our interests at heart in order to find the most sensible buyer. As we have learnt that is not always the offer at the higest price as other factors come into play. Harry explained to my wife and I initially around the table, face to face the strategy involved in working towards a sale. He listened to our thoughts on what would sell the house too. It was altogether an extremely positive journey and we are both very grateful.

GoogleI have dealt with many estate agents over the years, but my experience in buying a property through Knight Frank in Oxford was excellent and special. Firstly, William Kirkland was proactive and spotted the exact property I was looking for and moved with speed to get the ball rolling. Without William's proactive approach, I doubt I would have achieved the purchase. It was a tricky transaction which required sharp and quick thinking and dealing with a complex set of circumstances. William was extremely professional and it was most helpful that he was very realistic about key aspects, as we moved through the different stages of the process. He always followed up quickly, on the same day and communicated clearly. His was always the last note on file and the most recent call. We never had to wait long to know where we were in the process and where we stood on the various matters. There were several challenging aspects during the negotiations and William helped me navigate these with useful insights and guidance, which I have not experienced with other agents. William managed to bring a pace and balance to the negotiations which meant that in the end, neither party walked away and the deal was done! I think one of the main things William brought to the table was how he managed both sides expectations, without creating any bias to one side or the other. We both felt fairly treated and both achieved our objectives, happily. Having worked and participated in the professional services industry internationally, I am able to say that there is no doubt that William Kirkland is quite unique in the estate agency world and the most professional and competent estate agent I have met, with exacting standards and capabilities not easily found elsewhere. I highly recommend William Kirkland if you want to buy or sell a property in Oxford. I also found Knight Frank's Oxford office staff very friendly and helpful, nothing was too much trouble and highly competent. I was impressed with Knight Frank's reports, brochures and services which keep one well informed and up to date on all property trends and opportunities.

GoogleUnable to recommend! I called the Oxford office on 27/07/18 as I wanted to discuss listing a home for sale within their area. I was told I would receive a call back shortly from Harry. My name, address and two phone numbers were taken. Surprise, surprise, I didn't receive a call back and four days passed. So I called them back on 31/07/18 and Harry answered the phone. I asked why nobody had bothered to call me back. I didn't really get a straight answer. Anyway, reluctantly I gave them the benefit of of the doubt. He took down some additional details and said somebody else would now call me back. Another day passed by, waiting.... waiting... no call back. So my wife called them back on 01/08/18 to complain. I am done with these guys. They clearly do not have their act together and cannot communicate properly. This is clearly not the kind of agents you want to have handling your home sale. There is no excuse or acceptable rebuttal, just a terrible lack of professionalism! We will appoint another estate agent who can do a proper job and who genuinely wants to earn your business.

GoogleWe instructed Knight Frank’s Oxford office as executors of our mother’s estate for the sale of the family home. Olly Saxton advised us on the marketing strategy and was always available and responsive throughout the transaction. As the house would be a possible renovation project, he advised a realistic price in the hope of attracting higher offers, and also for us to obtain a seller’s survey report to avoid the risk of later renegotiations due to the condition of the property. Both proved spot on. We live a long way from the property and so Knight Frank were also very helpful in recommending companies to do maintenance work and being present for these visits, as well as all the viewings - they even took final meter readings for us on completion. We could not be more happy with the service provided by Knight Frank’s Oxford office and Olly Saxton in particular.

Harry and Giselle have navigated us through the process with great skill, discretion and sensitivity. We felt confident that Harry had an in depth knowledge of the area and enthusiasm for the property that we are sure contributed to the successful sale. His advice was always well considered and accurate. During the challenging journey from offer to exchange in just 20 days we felt protected and well informed at all times. (Sanbach Branch) You have properties for sale that other estate agents in Cheshire will no longer market. There is one such property currently listed by your Sandbach branch. It has been advertised as SSTC on 3 separate occasions now! The neighboring properties have also alerted us that this is/was the case. However, it was far too late for us to pull out. I feel sorry for all the potential buyers who had to back out because of costly major defects, running into tens of thousands of pounds. Defects that the estate agents and the company that owns this particular home are never going to acknowledge. Instead, they will spin you a web of lies. These are unsuspecting buyers who have put all their faith in this team of agents. They, the agents ignore costly independent surveys as do the vendors. This cowboy outfit has cost me about £700. There is one particular member of the Sandbach office who has also lied about a family member of mine. It is a good thing we are recording all our conversations.

From the initial visit, to the sale of the property, we received an effective and reliable service, providing us with maximum viewers and a great result, with a sale in just over 2 weeks. Everything ran very smoothly and quickly with the staff going out of their way to help us and keep us informed at each stage of the process. Samantha Young, the Team Secretary, went out of her way to help tie up all the lose ends that are involved in the handing over of a house. I would highly recommend.

Such a poor service. Rude staff. Unreliable. Used them to rent out a property, they didn’t carry out proper checks, ended up with over a year of unpaid rent. Property damaged. They would not support me so had to do the whole eviction myself. They just provided a terrible service then abandoned me. Wouldn’t help me with even basic help. Then contacted me after the tenant was forcibly evicted to ask if they could have their deposit back. £13000 rent arrears and court costs and they asked me if I wanted to release the tenants deposit. Speechless. Avoid if you can

Do not use guaranteed rent scheme - gave us £430 a month and rented our house for over £650. Was with them 10 years and with life events we wanted it back and found urine from cats in our carpets, fleas and lack of respect that they had not been in property inspecting for 2 years stating tenant was poorly and can’t legally enter? We expected them to manage it. No defects had been reported and staircase was broken, the radiator had been broken with errors on boiler. Mostly there was a big mast from old tv hanging off the roof onto downstairs property we could have been liable for. Handover was awful they tried to tell us our property wouldn’t go for much quoting 80k when we sold it for 40k more. They wrote list of things we needed to sort never did at end of tenancy quoting out of scope on life of carpets or fittings etc. Cleaner was meant to be cleaning it out after 5 weeks no rent off them we demanded keys back - they didn’t pay for delay quoting more contract jargon. Very poor attitudes and would certainly not get a valuation from them. Do not trust them we dealt with the Newcastle branch. Also could never get the same person always someone just starting maybe they can’t keep their staff. Avoid them at all cost your house
