I felt that you listened to us and contacted us regarding properties that we would be interested in, in the areas that we were interested in. You demonstrated a good knowledge of the areas and housing prices. You did not bombard us with unnecessary contact and came across very well. You always met with us on time and were very punctual and reliable. I will be looking for a buy to let later in the year and will be specifically contacting you to assist me with this. We had a very positive experience with Chancellors. Buying in Oxford was daunting: the fast pace of the market was a real contrast to what we were used to in Sheffield. Nick Lewis helpfully guided us through the process and provided a vital and diplomatic push just when we needed it - we're now happily at home in the property we encouraged us to buy, and without his help we might well have missed out and still be looking. My family and I were new to the country and only had a 2 week let. We had some very specific property requirements and after the first week were quite frustrated and concerned we would not be able to find any suitable property. Fortunately, we came in touch with Callum Lovett at the Headington Office of Chancellors. Callum assured us that he could help us find a property. He was extremely energetic and committed to helping us. He listened and was very respectful of our situation and did not try to hard sell us. Most importantly he was professional and patient. The only time I questioned his judgment was when he agreed to show us a property, postponing a commitment to his girlfriend. We worked with many agents while trying to find a property and Callum was by far the best agent we dealt with. If you need help in lettings call Chancellors in Headington and ask for Callum. You will not regret it.

I would recommend Chancellors for all property dealings such as buying/selling/lettings. I personally recommend Rose Simpson. Rose was my agent and she was very keen and helped me get things done in a smooth and efficient way. Although there were few issues which happened during the process of buying Rose was quick to contact the appropriate personnel and get the issues resolved quickly so that everything was back on track. House buying is one of the most stressful times so having a good agent who could help understand your specific needs and act on it is very helpful. I found Rose very friendly and recommend her strongly.

I chose Chancellors in Headington as Agents to manage and rent my Property, as their terms were attractive and they have a large number of clients on their books. As it was approaching the end of the year I figured it would be quite difficult to find anyone before Christmas and their large client base would give me the best chance. Well within 6 hours of confirming their appointment they showed the first client round, and within 4 days 20 people had viewed the Property. All of this before the property had even gone on the website. I had a couple of offers by then but decided to wait until at least the property was on the web. By the following Monday (6 days after I had instructed Chancellors) I had 3 firm offers. They sat me down and impartially went through the pro’s and con’s of all three and helped me to come to a decision. Lucia Giacoponello was my account manager and at every stage of the reference checking and contract creation process she kept me informed, chased me up in the politest manner for the obligations I had. She was happy to fit in with my schedule and I never felt like I had to wait ‘in line’ to get seen. The move went very smoothly, I am very happy with the tenant as I hope they are with the house, and after a few months of renting now, Chancellors still keep me informed of payments made to my account with professional statements easily accessible through E-Mail and online. All in all the whole process has been very smooth and stress free thanks largely to Lucia and the team that support her. I would highly recommend Chancellors in Headington for anyone who is looking for a professional property management firm.

Mr James Godfrey helped with the sale and Mr Joe Brayne helped with our new purchasing. I have been letting my apartment through the Chancellors Headington branch for some years now and have been extremely satisfied with the service. When the apartment becomes available they advertise it immediately and are very efficient in arranging multiple viewings. Within days I usually receive a list of offers and they help me decide on the best tenant. I had received a research leave from my university and would be staying as visiting scholar in Oxford. So me and wife were looking for a furnished house to rent for a year. This was not easy. Because we have four children finding suitable accommodation was a challenge. I contacted 14 real estate agents. Some were more helpfull than others. But two really stood far above all others. Of these Chancellors, represented for us by Mr. Newman was truly superb. His helpfullness and initiative were outstanding. Altough in the end we ended up with a house not managed by Chancellors (for reasons of proximity to schools, size and price), I still feel happy to have the occasion here to warmly recommend Chancellors (and Mr. Newman) to all prospective clients.

I'm saddened that it's got to the point I have to leave this review.. Me and my partner have either been ignored completely or just given the run around by the headington branch. We made them aware that we have a time scale which is now nearly at an end and we've had hardly no help! I doubt even this review will get a response. If I knew that my customers felt this way about me id be heartbroken but apparently good customer service isn't something of value here. But on the other hand the kidlington branch I couldn't recommend more. They are the complete polar opposite to the headington branch and deserve recognition

Be aware we took 8 months to get our money back and we have to involve the claim to get it. Some of the member of have been extremely rude. The communication was inexistent, and that was our second home from them. Terrible service❌❌❌❌❌ I don't get it❌ how they have 5 stars reviews our experience as a family was traumatic. Although the City council was involved they try to help the Land Lord, we got our money. I hope you have change your altitude (you have't changed in 3 years).
