Landlords should AVOID!!!

Chancellors are simply inept at managing properties. Staff are incapable of maintaining a property left with them and have cost us thousands as a result of their negligence. They are a tenant's dream, but landlords, please avoid.

I went Into the office and greeted by an agent named Tiago. He made me feel very comfortable and went out of his way to help me find a suitable accommodation. At times I felt that he cared more about helping me than myself helping me which I thought was very kind of him. For his age, Tiago seems to be well informed and knows the companies policies. If you are looking for a property in oxford then this guy will find you one.

If I could give zero stars then I would. I sold my flat with Chancellors Headington and my experience was abysmal. I was given misinformation about the buyer and there was a complete lack of communication throughout. Cherry on the cake was being criticised by the Sales Director Alex Dimopoulos MNAEA for “phoning the office too many times”. My advice is to avoid Chancellors at all costs. I was not made to feel like a valued customer in any way.

Freya Barry from the Headington Lettings Team was absolutely amazing! Me and my partner had been house hunting for 4 months with no luck. We got in touch with Freya in the last month who has gone above and beyond to find us our perfect home. She always managed to work our schedules around viewings, stayed in touch, answered any queries and overall was outstandingly helpful. We were incredibly lucky to have Freya as our lettings manager, we would definitely recommend! :)

We had a really positive experience with Chancellors, agent for our house sale. Right from the very start we were impressed. Alex came round to make the estimate, and he was very informed and had done his research, so we had confidence that we were placing the house in good hands. Chancellors did all the viewings, and seemed to have a good database and list of prospective buyers. The first offer didn’t proceed when the buyer pulled out early in the process, but a number of new buyers were rapidly found and we very soon sold and completed the sale. All the way through we had regular communication. We also used a conveyancer recommended by Chancellors, and they were excellent. First rate service throughout.

I am very happy about the service provided by the Chancellors to find out family property in Headington. It was a really challenging time we spent with searching properties, viewing and discussing with several letting agents. But Chancellors send me lot of options. DO NOT RENT 8 AWGAR STONE ROAD. The house was in awful shape and the landlord is not returning my deposit claiming there is damage which I didn't do. Chancellors did not do anything to protect me. I was left without heating over the Christmas period and forced to pay the full rent of 1500£/month. I contacted chancellors nothing happened. So spare the nice words on the web

This is the first time I worked with Chancellors Headington and I heard how tiring and hard it is to get a house with them, but for me personally it was good. Like any other agency they ask for references but nothing new. With Chancellors you get more help from the agents and are lovely and understanding.
