After many months of looking, and even months to close the deal, we've found our perfect house thanks to Ronaldo and Alex! Ronaldo arranged most of our viewings and he was super warm, friendly and supportive which made a world of difference as first timers. We were able to enjoy the experience and appreciated that he gave us enough information to feel confident in our decision. Alex was also very efficient and on top of things which really sped things along. We truly felt we were in good hands as he doesn't miss anything. Some of the other Chancellors agents were either not as friendly, mixed up appointments without apology, or left our emails and calls unanswered during delays in the chain. So we're really glad that we mainly worked with Ronaldo and Alex.

Navigating the private lettings market in Oxford has been challenging for our family, particularly as we transitioned from years of living in Oxford University student accommodation. We have recently rented a property through Chancellors, and whilst some areas left us feeling frustrated (the lettings hub mainly!) Overall we had a positive experience and this is mostly down to Charlie. Charlie showed us the property, answering a million and one questions and following up with any he didn’t know on the spot. Charlie was always quick to respond, professional and a great contact throughout this process. When passed to the head office, delays in responses increased but Charlie (even though technically we weren’t under his care at this time) made sure to follow up on any queries we had. He also checked in after all was complete to make sure we had everything we needed. He is a credit to the team and my 5 stars is based on my experience with him directly. Danielle was one of our contacts at head office, responses were delayed at times, but when we did speak to Danielle, she was friendly, informative and professional. I’m not in a rush to move again, but when I do, I would be happy to do so with this team.

In 2024, our family returned, and Mr. Charlie Howlett was extremely helpful in finding a property for us. Since we arrived in Oxford in late August, when fewer properties were available, and were eager to move in as soon as possible, Charlie patiently took care of our needs, found suitable properties, and responded to our questions quickly and thoughtfully. The frustrating experience of dealing with a tenant who hadn’t paid rent for 4 months and an accounting team who hadn’t chased the debt, contacted the guarantor or provided an account statement during the period. I was most frustrated when calling the area office. However, Rebecca answered my call and listened to my issues, heard my frustration and took the time to agree a course of action. Not only did she accurately outline the situation, advise what steps she would take to gather the information and committed to contacting me with updates. To be called back with an update was most refreshing and unusual having previously left more than 5 messages for a manager and not receiving a call back.

I am a first time buyer so no previous experience about getting an state agent appointment, viewing itself is totally a new experience for me. I was bit nervous on the day of my house viewing on the top tensed about how I will manage to view three houses in 45 minutes without any personal vehicle. In my first property viewing I explained my situation to Jack and he was very kind and helpful. He gave lift to me and my husband and showed us all three properties. It was a great experience.
