Paying rent is more expensive than owning a property therefore you need an excellent agent to make living in someone's property as best they can. With that said I can say that Amy Depledge has that for me at Chancellors. Amy always responded in good time to my queries over lat last 6 months. She kept me informed on all the requests I have asked her to communicate to the landlord and contractors. I do trust her to do her best to help. Amy is professional and friendly over the phone and that makes it easy for me to approach her. Good work Amy and thank you again.

Chancellors have managed my rental property over the past 10 years, with occasional changes in the property management staff and, therefore, my property manager. Currently, Amy Depledge is my key point of contact. Amy uses her initiative and is highly efficient and timely with her responses to queries or actions required on behalf of myself or the tenant. It is reassuring to have a property manager who is conscious of the customer service they are delivering both for myself and the tenant.

I recently put my house on the market…

I recently put my house on the market with Chancellors Aylesbury. This was with some trepidation after the awful service I had received from another company. Warren Peach the Sales Manager assured me that his team were professional and cared about the properties and the sellers they were looking after. The service I received from them has been phenomenal. The staff are considerate and informative and take immense care when showing potential buyers around the property. I sold my house and Charlotte Simonson was the sales negotiator that sold it. The communication I received from her was clear and precise, the professionalism she showed has been outstanding, and she is knowledgeable in the questions I have raised which she has answered. I would certainly recommend her, the team and the branch if ever anyone is considering selling their property. Chancellors have definately come through with everything that they said they would do for me.

Sale of bungalow at Pencombe

We recently instructed Chancellors to sell my mothers bungalow following her move into residential care. We are very pleased with the outcome of the comprehensive marketing and have been impressed with the prompt feedback following each viewing. Beth and Becky have worked hard responding to all enquiries and managing the considerable interest shown in the property . They have kept us fully informed through out and their expertise and advice has resulted in a very satisfactory outcome. I instructed Paul Bosanko and his team to sell my property based on the excellent and professional service I received 8 years ago when I purchased my house through them. Once again they have not disappointed and I have now accepted an offer on my property after just 3 weeks of marketing. Fantastic service

Alistair and Dan have been fantastic from start to finish. We started with a different agent and didn't get anywhere and had very poor communication. With Chancellors it was the opposite, weekly updates with breakdown of stats and good contact with Dan throughout. I would highly recommend them. Everyone of the team that I had contact with gave a professional and helpful service. Dan was in contact with us during the sale process and even when the sale went through was there to help as and when I needed it. Could not fault them at all. Great team, thank you Dan for all your support.

Amazing experience and would highly recommend.

The only regret I have about working with Chancellors was not choosing sole agency over multiple, as this was the first time I had ever sold a property I wasn't really sure on the best approach. From the get go the quality of viewings over all other agents was incredible, the whole team were so dedicated to walking me through the process and helping me find a buyer seamlessly. Rebecca and Oliver were so helpful through the whole process and it's been an absolute pleasure to work with them. I couldn't recommend Chancellors more :)

Poor Service

Our experience with Chancellors after sales team and the the Manager was very poor. It seems once they have made a sale, they are not bothered with you as their client. We had to chase every time for an update. What should have been a normal sale turned into 7 months nightmare. Quick to take their service fee for not actually providing a service There was no follow up unless we asked. The Manager Ben Hamlin was rude in his manner of not returning my calls, of which I left several - would never use them again! not sure where the 5 star ratings are coming from- looks like they delete all the bad comments

Super quick, great communication, 5 stars!

I would like to thank the team at Chancellors for their fantastic support selling my property in Littlemore, I can't recommend them enough. From Ella's well timed check-in call in March when I was toying with the idea of selling, to Alex's valuation, getting it on the market and completing the sale in 2 months, the whole process has been a whirlwind and they've been there to talk me through every step. They had a good pipeline of potential buyers lined up before the house even went online, and the speed of my sale shows how good thry are connecting the right buyers to the right house. I was super worried due to the complexities of viewing during covid and house cats but Ella was fab, she put my mind at ease and was really respectful on visits. That coupled with her excellent customer service, she's a real asset to Chancellors. Alex was more than fab too. Anyway, lots of words to say, 5 stars I would really recommend them.

Very excellent service . We are very great and pleased with the service provided by chancellors staff ,her name is Katherine Badenhorst who is negotiator manager. We had a really hard time with solicitor not giving us a proper updates and waiting for a long time to get any updates but Katherine she help us so much . The letting staff at Chancellors' St. Johns Wood Branch; Domonic, Miles, and Ella, were highly effective in successfully identifying a suitable tenant for my property. Within a week, in a rather challenging market conditions, two dozen viewings for prospective tenants were arranged. The staff were always available to promptly provide answers to the issues involved. Chancellors' Central Lettings unit demonstrated a high level of professionalism and competence. Scarlett Hitchcock was pleasant and most responsive. She made an otherwise complicated and lengthy documentation process simple and straightforward. Luke was really professional and patient with us throughout the entire process. I can honestly say he played a really important role in closing this out for us. There were many ups and downs and he was always updating us and keeping the communication flowing between us and the seller. Lisa Cox, Sales Manager of Chancellors Estate Agents, Abingdon

Lisa Cox of the Abingdon Chancellors Office came to our house recently to give a Probate valuation. I requested an appointment via the web site and Lisa phoned me to confirm a time shortly afterwards. Lisa was very professional but friendly and I was impressed by her local property knowledge. When stating the probate value, Lisa took the time to justify why she had come to that valuation and showed me how our house compared with other 'sold' and 'for sale' houses in that bracket which gave me confidence. I received a formal written valuation the next working day by email and post which was much appreciated. I would highly recommend Lisa (and Chancellors) for her expertise and, if selling, I would definitely market the property with Lisa.

I'm making Dean the focal point of this review as he is the one that took care of me and my friends. His efforts and customer care towards me and my friends has been immensely helpful. He has shed a lot of stress from us and has made us his priority when we were unable to find a house. We collectively cannot thank Dean enough! We are incredibly grateful for the way he has treated us, made us feel like someone actually cares about our living situation and took into account our financial situations instead of just throwing any house our way without any regards to if we could afford it or not.
