Poor communication. Slow at getting things done. Don’t come back to you. Bad photography and then when we tried to exit our contract under the cooling off period they told us this was not relevant as we signed online and not in person!!! Would never recommend anybody to think about using them. Very unprofessional company. Very bad experience. Utterly disgusted with the company as a whole. So we had no viewings the whole time it was marketed. and now they are trying to sting us for £400!!! This has left a really bitter taste in my mouth. I know a lot of people in the area looking to sell and will definitely not be recommending you to anyone. They also left a full blown photograph of our 4 year old daughter online on the details and wondered why we asked for the property details to be removed from the website !!!

I went to the agency 2 weeks ago to find a property to rent, everything seemed good and they showed me a properly for which they quoted the wrong rent just ti get me to sign a contract. Later on once i came to know about the real rent. I decided to go with the rival agency who happened to be handling the same property. I finalised everything and then Chancellors threatened me and the landlord both and made him say no to rent the flat after I had given my current landlord a notice. So practically as i am typing this review I am going to be homeless in 4 weeks as I am going abroad in 1 week and dont have time to look for another property. When I get back will have to empty the house i am in. They are real bullies and will threaten anyone who would not do what they ask for. One word of advice, dont go to them. The quote wrong prices just to make you sign the contracts and there is a good chance you will be homeless like me if you let them show you houses.

if you are thinking of renting in oxford i could not recommend chancellors on Cowley road more highly our letting agent josh could not of done more for us, he was a true star and a credit to his company form the initial conversation over the phone to being shown round different property's in a professional but relaxed manner, he was truly outstanding any questions we had were answered and when we were having trouble with picking up the keys he could no of been more helpfull

I'd like to make clear that i'm not a disgruntled tenant who lost their deposit. My experience in the property was great. Chancellors were slow to reply to any emails we sent in the build up to renting the property, never able to take calls and generally quick to avoid doing any work. We asked for specific terms to be added to our contract, which they said was fine and approved. When it came to discussing this with the landlord, they'd had no communication about this and were very surprised. Fortunately the landlords honoured it, but it could have been very difficult for us. Chancellors also phoned to see if we were interested in viewing the property that we were moving out. So in short, terrible communication and customer service. But our flat and landlord was lovely.

Oliver Marsden shepherded us very ably through some very tricky moments in the sale of our house in Florence Park. Throughout he was friendly, encouraging and honest about the situations we were faced with, from buyers pulling out to glitches with mortgages in the chain. He maintained just the right level of contact with us and was always responsive on the phone if we had queries in between his 'checking in' calls. Because we bought our new house through another branch of Chancellors he was also able to give us more information about progress with the various processes than the solicitors were able to. All together we were very pleased with the level of service and professionalism. Thanks, Oliver, and the rest of the team!

We met a lot of estate agents whilst looking to buy our first house. The Chancellors Cowley Road staff, and Emrah in particular, were by far the best we dealt with. He was always quick to respond to our (many) questions and phone calls, was personable, and was helpful without being pushy or overselling the houses. It was a huge difference compared to the other estate agents we dealt with and made the whole process a lot less stressful. We will definitely use them again when we're looking to move in the future.

Robyn recently showed us a house that we ended up having an offer accepted on. She tenaciously stewarded us through the offer process and was (and still is) on hand for any queries that we might have. We were made to feel comfortable and at ease by Robyn at all times through her knowledge, sense of humour and friendliness. I am convinced that she could sell shoes to Kurt Geiger. The whole buying process through Chancellors, at the point we are at, has been very simple and I would recommend.
