Dean Smith from Chancellors was phenomenal in assisting us through trying to find a property which would be suitable for us. Dean took the time to recommend houses which were ideal for our needs, he also frequently called and emailed, keeping us informed of where we are in the process. Very friendly and professional. I would highly recommend students to use Chancellors when looking for their private property; they are professional, understandable and knowledgeable about the needs and concerns students as first-timer tenants might have.

Your company overcharged me. The outstanding amount was £91.20 but I calculated as £61.18 so the difference is approximately £30. It's not the amount that I'm concerned with, but how you deal with your customers. It's not right that you agree a fee with me then go back on your word! You didn't reply to my email and sent another invoice demanding £91.20 without disputing my calculation which was agreed with your letting management! Not replying to my calculation and then threatening me with legal action is absolutely disgraceful, so this review is justified.

Scandalous and fraudulent

Scandalous and fraudulent. I reduced rent for my tenant during lockdown and Chancellor's increased the % they charged on rent collection to maintain their revenue without my knowledge. They also reduced the rent further without my knowledge and refuse to do anything about it.
