They only value landlords and they treat tenants like we are beggers. Utterly obnoxious and unacceptable. You will learn in time real estate agents when you begin losing

GoogleWe inherited a house that we were considering renovating and then renting. The renovation turned out very well, partly due to the encouragement and advice we received from Tanya and Chris of Carter Jonas before we started. We live in the U. S. so having a company that we can totally rely on is especially important to us. Carter Jonas has been our property manager for a year now and we have been completely satisfied.

GoogleNote of caution to Tenants, Avoid at all cost! - Only gave 1 star because I couldn’t give lower. Carter Jonas are a 1 sided estate agent that only represent the Owners and where Tenants are a commodity. They optimise the law in the owners favour and will extract the maximum money out of you while giving you the most 1 sided tenancy agreement possible. Basically act as the owners “muscle”. Dealt with them for 3 years as a tenant and hope to never deal with them again as a tenant or a potential landlord.

GoogleI wish Google allowed zero stars because this is what this agency deserves. Very slow with everything (the only exception is collecting money from you!), constantly passing emails to various members of staff, and in the end no one gives a clear answer to your question. When things get tight because they have procrastinated so much, of course it is the tenant's fault, and you end up with no flat and no reimbursement for the fee that you have paid. Additionally, they seem to charge tenants for all sorts of things, and are very unhelpful when it comes to explaining the contract. Definitely would not recommend. PS All the five star reviews here seem to have been written around the same time and are quite similar in style. Suspicious, isn't it?

GoogleWe’ve had a really positive experience with Carter Jonas as tenants in central Oxford. The landlord lived abroad and was quite difficult to get hold of, but the agency took care of everything instead of them. They were always very professional and replied to e-mails promptly, and any property issue that we reported was always taken care of. They were kind enough to arrange complete redecoration of the bathroom whilst we were away on holiday. Moving out was hassle-free, and they were very fair with respect to wear & tear, giving us our full deposit back. Would definitely recommend.
