GoogleAt the end of the contract, a big chunk of the caution was kept with very little justification. Disappointed
We are very sorry to receive your review Tom. As per your tenancy agreement the property is to be returned in the same condition as it was given to you in, unfortunately this did not happen and therefore this has led to end of tenancy charges on your deposit. Please note that these charges can be disputed through the TDS if you feel they are unfair. Property manager on holiday during check out. We’re just in the process of ending our tenancy and I thought it worth a second review because of how useless they have been, again. They never return phonecalls or messages. It takes weeks or even months to get anything fixed on the property. It took 3 months to get the double glazing fixed in the middle of winter. When we phoned about an issue with our back door lock we were threatened with a £99 lock smith charge if it was in any way our fault (we fixed the damaged key ourselves for £2.50 and then called them out for the lock issues). The process is so slow that we just bought the replacement blind for our sons room rather than wait any longer for Breckon (they took 2 weeks and we were being woken up at dawn every day). The main property manager went on holiday during the week of our check out with no one else being provided as a replacement contact and adding unnecessary delays to the return of our deposit.
