Reviewing from a seller’s perspective. Hardisty are a good agent in Leeds - the initial contact was smooth. However, once I signed the contract and was passed onto another sales agent, there was less interaction and I had to chase several times for feedback from viewings. I didn’t get the feeling that the agent was particularly bothered about selling my property. Things got much better once an offer was accepted (after two rounds of price reductions). Roxy from the sales progression team was great to work with, on top of things and a good communicator. Overall, I think I should’ve asked to switch sales agent once it became clear that the agent handling my case was not a good fit for me.

Jack Barry was very helpful with us throughout the process of trying to purchase a property. Ultimately we went with a different property however we would highly recommend Jack and Hardisty as he was helpful and kept us updated throughout the entire process.

To start with the communication was very good. We asked a few questions and we were told we had to sue solicitors to ask these questions about the vendor's situation and where they were with buying a house. However when it was convenient, we were asked the same kind of questions by the estate agent, instead of using the solicitors as initially suggested, so we felt that there were some double standards involved.Also, due to a problem in the chain, we did not complete until 4:15pm, which meant I could not come to pick the keys from the property up until 5:45pm. The estate agent should have some potential for either waiting a little bit longer to give the keys or have provision for a seif where we could have picked the keys up. We would have been homeless with a small child, a dog and a cat if an employee from the agency wasn't kind enough to keep the keys and meet me at a house where they were doing private work nearby. I was seriously upset about this incident.
