As always, we act on the instructions of the landlord of the property and provide evidence for any deposit deductions. You were welcome to challenge the deductions, we have no gain from deducting from a tenants deposit and try to act as a mediator between the tenant and the landlord. Hi Victoria, we're very disappointed that you feel this way. We would like to remind you that it is your responsibility to look after your keys, not ours. There is a charge for lost keys, as someone has to take time out of their working day (costing the company money) to get your keys cut (costing money) to deliver them to you before the end of the working day so you can access your house/room. We would much rather you didn't lose your keys and we did not have to get them cut on your behalf. We inform all of our tenants of this at the start of their tenancy (clearly displayed on the notice board in your property), we provide a key safe in the property so you can access your room and offer tips (such as getting a key cut prior to losing them) all of which to try and reduce the occurrence of such situations.

Hi Alex, we're sorry you feel this way. You were informed several times of the costs involved in the numerous times we had to accommodate your group which was over and above our usual service. You signed a tenancy agreement which clearly stated that your holding fee was non-refundable in the event you did not take occupation of your property - it is unfortunate that you feel we are con-artists when you agreed to the terms in writing. We hope you have a better experience renting in the future.
