GoogleIf you are one that takes delight in peace of mind and easiness of life, please don’t walk but run away from anything involved with Loc8me. However, if you decide that your life is not quite the drama or is not giving you the adrenaline rush you believe you deserve, go ahead and book with Loc8me and enjoy the ride. Ps: it will be at your expense, but hey what’s life without headaches? I just started my tenancy with them as a third year student and they are giving me more stress than my macroeconomics module is giving me.

GoogleI have finished my 12 month student tenancy with this company and it has been anything but easy… If you wish to avoid any of the following please reconsider : Booking maintenance and viewings with no notice. If there’s viewing notice 9 times out of 10 no one shows. Poor, unprofessional communication from property manager who did not explain financial issues well to us when queried. Claiming I did not pay excess utility spend when there is proof of payment, turns out they hadn’t transferred it from my rent account. Expecting us to leave our bedroom doors open whilst out at university for a viewing which may or may not happen. Take this as you will, but I recommend looking at trustpilot. And as another review said, what’s life without headaches!

GoogleAll communication was minimal at best. Regardless of what your issue was you were always directed to contact them via a WhatsApp group chat, where the property manager was unprofessional and took days if not weeks to reply. They often failed to cc everyone into group emails and took multiple attempts to update any personal information (that they had mislaid or written down incorrectly). They had not been given spare keys from the previous estate agents and whilst this was not their fault, they refused to replace the locks (which seems to be a security issue) or make copies. As a result they took months to fix our faulty fire alarm box as "they needed access to all rooms".They also became annoyed if we did not keep all of our rooms unlocked and for at least someone to be present for the numerous viewings they would schedule (often at very short, if any notice).

Terrible service. They will charge you an exorbitant amount for bills "overuse", despite being bills inclusive. Forget your deposit once you pay, it is gone. Maintenance will show up unannounced. The carpets were stained, and the kitchen had a horrible smell. Once had a mice problem that took forever to be taken care of. Bathroom mould that was charged to us. The staff is horrible, rude and unprofessional. Many underhanded clauses in the contract. One of the worst experiences of my life. Never want to have anything to do with them ever again.
