The agent (Drew) was very attentive whilst we were viewing the place and soon after we rented the flat we were totally ignored by the agents. The flat came with few light bulbs without working, the fire alarm had no batteries in it and we had a leaking problem that they ignored until the day we moved out. Every time we would pop by the agency to sort these issues they would treat us dismissively and we never got any of our issues for which we reported sorted. Also they charge abusive fees on moving in, contract renewal and even a check out fee. Avoid at all costs!

Absolutely appalling service and would never touch this group of individuals with a barge pole. I have a number of properties i currently let out and thankfully use another agent, however i had to make contact with their property management dept when a property that they currently manage was leaking water into my own flat that i live in below. Appalling rude members of staff who slammed the phone down on me twice when i was obviously stressed because of the damage the water was causing. The dept manager was completely useless and i have had 4 days of water damage and now i have instructed the managing agents to take over and deal with this and any costs incurred will be sent over to them! Steer clear and go to another agent who care, are proactive and helpful which this company are most certainly not !!!!!!

We found Jack to be a very honest agent during the time he was working with us on a potential house purchase. We didn’t end up buying the house but he wasn’t pushy with the sale or feed us the usual ‘waffle’ that some agents do. He did all he could to overcome the objections that we had on the property and would highly recommend him when buying or selling a house.

I highly recommend using John Shepherd for letting or selling properties. They are highly professional, friendly and their services are extraordinarily good. I can't compare them with other estate agents I have used before in terms of advising, caring as well as guiding. I will be always using them whenever my property is empty. I am quite optimistic too that they will be able to find me a potential buyer.

Very poor service. I resent the fact that I paid this branch to make this let far more complex, time consuming and costly than had I self - managed the let. Having taken legal advice on their actions, I was advised that they had let me down very badly and that they were not providing me with the correct facts allowing me to access my property or get works done. They failed to pass on my correspondence to my tenants which caused massive problems, and one member of staff even told me that their primary concern was that the tenants were happy and I was of secondary importance. The whole let appeared to be run along the lines of what was the least hassle to John Shepherd. The cost to me of them taking this approach apoeared not to matter to them. I've only given them 2 stars rather than 1 as the branch head appeared to know his stuff ( unfortunately he delegated my let to others who were less capable ) and has offered to try to talk to me about all the mistakes they made. I do feel I should warn others about the service as it certainly fell way way short of what was promised.

I met Megan on one of the viewing of the houses. She was very professional in her dealings and was very welcoming. The best part was that she was available to be reached during office hours through her cell phone, and made in person viewings possible during covid times a well.Even though i didnt ended up renting the property from john shepherd but i will definately be recommending her to my circle.

I wrote a scathing review last week but must now apologise. I thought that it was the agents who were at fault but it has now become apparent that it was the landlord's mis communication that was the problem. Lauren managed to sort out the problem and get our full deposit back for us.

Will absolutely rip you off when returning deposit. £110 for cleaning after you clean the place top to bottom. Leave it a mess and at least you'll get your money's worth.

They didn't tell the tenant they switched off the gas and he was without heating and called me at 10PM We agreed on discounted price to find a tenant but they went back to their usual prices AFTER not very professional and doubt will use them again
