Jack was super fast in contacting us. He was so friendly and easy to talk to, as well as being very informative and helpful. Although we didn’t end up buying, we still can’t recommend them enough. Loads of free helpful advice and resources available for first time buyers, explained in a way that really helped me understand the mortgage process.

If I could post ZERO stars I would. Absolutely abysmal service from start to finish. Zero customer service. It's hard to tell if their staff is strained to be unhelpful or just plain stupid, such is the degree of their incompetence. This business needs to be avoided. Sadly as with many in this industry, very little checks and accountability is possible so they keep on treating clients with contempt.

GoogleAvoid them - the worst agents I’ve used. They are passive and unwilling to deal with substantial property issues. Their responses will take you in circles and falsely pass the buck on to tenants. They are also disorganised - arranging things last minute and losing property keys. There are far better agents out there.

I would not recommend this agency to anybody. We made the mistake of trying to rent a property using John Shepherd only backed out after realising how ridiculously overcharged and ripped off we were being. Their fees are disgusting. And they kept all of our money that they had (unfortunately for us) already taken even though it was not possible that they done ANYTHING in the time it took us realise what was happening. I feel taken advantage of and would like to request people to avoid this company at all costs. AWFUL.

This company are an absolute disgrace. I am sadly beholden to them as I am locked into a tenancy agreement which I am unable to break. I was witness to one of the most DISGUSTING email exchanges I've ever had the displeasure of reading yesterday courtesy of their appalling excuse for a Property Manager,* and she deals (I use this term LOOSELY) with tenants based in Birmingham City Centre. I would advise anyone to avoid these piranhas at all costs.

GoogleImpossible to get anyone to speak to or return my calls/ voicemail. There are a couple of properties I'm interested in renting but nobody has got back to me for a week despite leaving several messages. Landlords be aware of this. Your potential tenant cannot view your property due to ineffective letting agent

Sam Richards at Burton cannot do enough for us as landlords, nothing is ever too much. We have a large portfolio which brings its own risks but tenant rent arrears are never an issue. Highly recommended these guys.
