GoogleI took an appointment with this agency to visit a house and, despite the email they sent me the day before the viewing to confirm the appointment, 15 minutes before the viewing the estate agent Olivia Hales called me to ask if I was on my way to attend the viewing. I said yes and that I would be there in 20 minutes (my bus was 5 minutes late). She told me that "was a bit late for her" because she had the next viewing scheduled a few minutes after mine. I replied that the viewing was scheduled in 15 minutes and I would do my best to not be late. She told me that would be a "quick viewing then". 15 minutes later I was ten minutes away by walk to the house to visit, I called her to ask if she could wait or we could schedule another appointment for another hour or day. She replied saying that she would email me for another viewing. She never did and the colleague that called me the day after asking for feedbacks on the viewing, in the moment he heard that I didn't visit the house because of his colleague's unavailability, just hung up the phone. I would have appreciated being called by the agency, to cancel or reschedule the viewing, the day before or even a few hours before the appointment, I took a day off from work for the appointment and I traveled miles to do my best to be on time.

It's been a difficult journey selling our property with the prevailing market seeing house prices fall over last 12 months. We initially marketed our property with Minors & Brady (M&B) after moving from another agent who we felt let us down and ultimately valued our house too high.Whilst it was a difficult pill to swallow taking M&B advice in dropping our asking price, it did ultimately lead to several viewings and 2 offers which were above the 'guide price' and between ourselves and Abi we negotiated upwards.In reality, we did most of the negotiating on the sale price ourselves directly with our buyers but credit must be given to Abi, as she had to make several difficult phonecalls to interested parties during the offer stage.Several things didn't transpire correctly with the service initially offered by our valuer with M&B, with a few promises not delivered in terms of brochures and video walkthroughs but our initial dissatisfaction was dealt with quickly and appropriately with a satisfactory outcome for both M&B and ourselves. So whilst we might have been unhappy with certain aspects, I will highlight that they dealt with our complaint both quickly and efficiently and accepted accountability for some errors. No excuses.But enough said, as the real reason for giving a 5* rating is the fantastic after sales service we received from Claire Wilson. She was our dedicated after sales specialist and I can't compliment her enough on the hard work I know she has had to put in! Our chain was quite long and we were in the middle, so trying to get updates from sellers/buyers agents and solicitors had been a mammoth task in our specific situation. Every week Claire has called as she promised just to touch base or with updates. When we've asked her to check on certain aspects, she has been able to go away and at the very least get back in touch immediately with us, even if it's just to say that she hasn't got hold of anyone, so she'll try the following day and without fail she has done that every time! I think without Claire our home selling experience would have been enough to send me bald!Overall our service with M&B may have suffered a false start at the beginning, but we managed to reset our relationship between agent and seller to ultimately get 2 offers on our property within 6 weeks of going on the market, we accepted an offer not far off what we were hoping to achieve. We've now exchanged contracts and nearly reached final completion in a few days time. I still look at Rightmove and so many houses are still on the market when we first listed in December 2023. Whilst it's taken almost 5 months from offer to completion (it's a complicated chain), we have got there and in our price bracket I know houses are not selling quickly, so we are lucky to have found a buyer that fell in love with our house. More importantly, they are from out of area, so M&B managed to get viewings even for people that needed to travel 3 hours.A lot of people have been involved from M&B from initial valuation to completion, but it's important for us to personally commend Abi Mortimer (Branch Manager) who was really great when liaising with our buyers at the offer stage and offering us important guidance as her clients and also Claire Wilson (Senior Aftersales Progressor) for her dogged determination and due diligence to help get our sale over the line. Thank you both!

I had to push my viewing back half an hour due to train delays and the lady who answered the phone was very polite and understanding about it. I arrived at the house to be greeted by Joseph who was also very friendly and polite, despite the delay. It was a very professional viewing where he made sure I saw all parts of the house. He answered all my questions including the demographics of the area which is important to me and even the direction in which I could get back to the train station 😄 It was a really positive experience compared to some I've had with other agents. Really well done.

Excellent estate agents Cheryl dealt with the sale of my houseIn Jan 24 my mother died feb24 my house sold with in days my father in law was diagnosed with a very aggressive cancer Cheryl doubt with my case and she was absolute star if you want to use an estate agents I would advise using Minors and brady at Caister. Excellent service and got me the price I want from start to finish she dealt with it herself giving me less stress.

Great viewings team, with good knowledge of the area, left a trustworthy impression Have been shown around many properties by Melanie I believe her name was over the past few months, always turnes up on time and as I am buying from London she gave me good directions and insight into the area I was buying in.Really top drawer and holds this estate agent to a high standard in comparison to others in the area that were late, booked me into the wrong property to view, and on viewings I have caught out reps with simple questions about the property etc. none of that with Minors and Brady.Thanks team,Jack
