GoogleWas all going well until my holding deposit was paid. At this point I was asked to do things that I made it clear from the beginning of the process that I would not be willing to submit to (like open banking for example). When I refused I was told that this would mean I would fail referencing even though I had previously mentioned this exact thing and was assured it would not interfere. They also tried to threaten that they would not return my holding deposit unless I submitted to the open banking as this would mean I would fail referencing, it is only when I made it clear that I would sue for any money they have taken from me under false pretences as I was assured open banking would never be an issue that I received an email from Jack Nevin a director to let me know that the landlord had withdrawn and they would be sending back my funds.
The also tried to change the move in date again only after I had sent them money after I made it very clear that due to my current circumstances any change in dates could cost me significant amounts of money.
all in all I think they are just money hungry and are willing to tell you anything you want to hear in order to secure your money then they don’t give a toss about what happens.
won’t ever be using them again and advise others to stay clear and find an agent that genuinely wants to help.
