GoogleFrom valuation day through to completion of sale, Georgia and Eleanor showed genuine enthusiasm for the property they were marketing. After a family bereavment and during an extremely difficult time for myself in particular, there always pleasant nature , understanding and patience offered significant relief and came as a refreshing change to other estate agents encountered in the area. GoogleI would definitely recommend Swetenhams in Northwich. I am buying a property through them and have received excellent customer service, on the phone, by email and face to face. In particular from Georgia Stokes who has been there to sort everything out and answer all my questions. She is professional and has always got back to me quickly and addressed any concerns. I also want to mention Gary May my mortgage advisor who took the time and effort to sort a mortgage out for me despite there being some barriers. He has always got back to me straight away and explained everything clearly. Thank you.

GoogleIf there was an option to rate 0, I would have. I’ve just paid around 2k for the pleasure of renting a 2 bed semi. It was in need of TLC and the letting agent assured me that the house would be brought to top notch condition for my move in day and anything that can’t be cleaned will be replaced. On the day of the move in I have found: -kitchen units broken or completely ripped out and bare damp dirty walls exposed - oven and hob - looks like not been cleaned in the last 20 years- consumed so badly you would not even attempt to put your food there - brown coloured grease on the hob - shower fell apart - bath lining broken exposing sharp edge - no water supply for the washing machine - missing lights over the stairs - inches thick dust layers on the laps - worn out stained carpets - heating that can’t be controlled - mistakes on the contract - no meter readings - no electricity safety certification - some sockets not working - walls in 50 shades of grey/black and orange not painted in 20 years That must be their definition of “top notch”? Have raised the concerns, nobody even called me back. Could anyone be more disrespectful?

GoogleSwetenhams - Thanks for the copy & paste response, I had one email from you whilst my problem was still outstanding, I've heard or had no contact since. Unfortunately after a good start to the find a tenant service , a simple request regarding the deposit payment became a ridiculous charade, despite providing everything requested in order for my tenants deposit to rightfully be sent to me the deposit remains with Swetenhams. Really disappointed in the after sales care, which I shouldn't have had to deal with if my original (simple) instructions had been carried out correctly, to top it all they are 'more than happy' with the service provided and see no reason to even consider a small reduction in their service charge!
