I hate writing this review but feel it needs saying.. Steve the branch manager attended our property and gave a professional presentation and subsequent valuation on our property in Rudheath, Northwich . Having had a couple more valuations with other estate agents, we decided to go with Reed Rains. I telephoned this Thursday to the contact number on Steve's business card, the same as the website . I got and answer phone message saying "no one available but leave a message and they will call back". I called again later in the morning when no one had got back to me . I left the same message, still no one got back to me. Finally I called again later that afternoon , it still went to answer phone and I explained I'd phoned twice and was wanting to make an appointment come into the office to sign up for the house sale. Still no one came back to me . Finally the next day (Friday )at 5.20pm I got a call from Ryan saying he'd got a message and could he help!! I explained the position and said in the meantime , we'd not only been able to get another agent in on the Friday to value the house but had gone with then. Reed Rains absolutely lost the business through their inefficiency. Why have they only got one number, why was nobody picking up the answerphone messages for two days .Had I given them my business and my call had been a prospective buyer trying to book an appointment , what kind of impression would that have left the potential buyer . Very disappointing and unprofessional

We were tenants of a property managed by reeds rains for over 3and a half years We were subject to quarterly property reviews that initially were very hit and miss as to whether they were carried out in a timely manner, this all changed upon the arrival of Sharon who always booked the visits in advance and always confirmed that she will attend Sharon was always honest and reliable and always returned email queries as quickly as she could. When we left the property Sharon carried out a pre exit review and when the landlord wanted to charge us for some minor issues Sharon acted in a very professional manner to resolve the issues to both parties satisfaction. I would have no hesitation in recommending ReedsRains especially now that they appear to have the correct property management proffesionals in place.

Hi Northwich@reedsrain, sincere appreciation to your staff Emily Houston who was exceptional during the course of my renting an apartment through your agency. This was particularly impressive considering she had a very limited time to complete all the steps prior to moving in. A very polite attitude, and open communication while working arduously to eliminate undue delays and beareucracy which you might not know until you’ve dealt with some folks in the past. Also, doing all this at a time when people were advised to work from home is quite commendable . Putting it simply they delivered on the task at required time through her . There was also excellent communication by other members of the team and Sharon at the time getting things together, they were in touch with each other which to me implies good team work. UPDATED: I have recently been dealing with Mellissa Fleet from the Northwich Branch who has been dealing with my application for a rental property. The service has been brilliant, I have been kept informed at every stage of my application and always received documents on time that has helped my application process run very smooth indeed. She has always answered any questions I have had and made me feel at ease with the whole process. When moving home can be a stressful time it is a breath of fresh air to have a great customer service experience and one less thing to worry about when you are dealing with a very competent member of staff helping you through the process. Thank you Mellissa for all your help. UPDATE. After being in the apartment now for 4 months I would like to add the management has been excellent, Sharon Goddard the property manager has been extremely helpful answering any questions and provides a great service helping solve any potential issues. I could not rate highly enough.

It wasn't a simple process due to issues out of their control, but Kathryn made the whole situation as easy as possible from start to finish. An estate agent who truly exceeds their obligations and will always go above and beyond to ensure a great outcome! Trudie was a friendly face and a helpful agent through what could have been an extremely stressful time. Great with answering enquiries when viewing properties and when first setting out on our search for a home. Finding the perfect place took some time due to very specific requirements but Trudie remained patient and kept us well informed about any potential new properties in the area. Because of Trudie's hard work finding our dream home, we were aware of our house being due to come on the market very early and booked a viewing easily. Trudie was flexible and understanding about our commitments and always made the process easy. Knowledgeable about individual houses that we viewed and the buying process in general, Trudie made the whole process of finding our perfect home quick, easy and simple. She even made absolutely sure that we met our extremely imminent deadlines of Christmas and a baby due to be born. Always quick to pick up the phone and someone who actually calls back when you leave a message or speak to someone else! Very unusual to find an estate agent so diligent and responsive. Trudie was helpful with every part of the process, ensuring the transaction went smoothly from start to finish. We had several valuations but felt Amy was the only valuer whose valuation was optimistic whilst still being realistic and her enthusiasm was infectious. Other agents valued our property at 25% less. On instruction our property was handed to Trudie who was just wonderful, always positive and always available to speak to and her advice was invaluable. Trudie found a buyer within 12 weeks - everything went smoothly and we achieved around 15% more than the lowest valuation from other agents. It was an emotional time as it was my family home and I had very recently lost my parents but felt completely looked after everyone there and I can't recommend Reeds Rains enough, the whole team is so professional and capable. Absolutely hated our entire experience of potentially selling out our home with Reed Rains of Northwich. Right from the start of this process we were let down and misled We were told that they would do every viewing but omitted to tell us this does not include Sunday's. Customer care and consideration appalling. The only time we heard from Reed Rains was in relation to settling accounts. Be warned they do not tell you that you have to pay for a professional to do the pictures of your home. Well they do when they start sending you threatening demands. This Estate agent does not show any compassion or considoration for its clients.
