I am a solo first time buyer and Hinchliffe Holmes made the whole process comfortable and a lot less daunting than I anticipated. They communicated excellently between myself and the seller, and would always get back to my emails and voicemails. Meg did my first viewing and had an excellent knowledge of the property and also provided me with local information as I am new to the area. She was really friendly and once again made me feel welcome and that I could ask any questions. A second viewing was also booked in really easily which allowed for me to take measurements for sofas etc and there was not a question of how long this took. Hinchliffe Holmes also recommended a solicitor from Chambers Fletcher who worked alongside us to achieve the agreed sale date. Would 100% recommended to anyone wanting to sell their property or buy a property listed with Hinchliffe.

We chose Hincliffe Holmes because we liked the online reviews and they are a family run business. Josh came to see us personally and made us feel very relaxed , listened to us and wanted to know about the history of the house. He also recommended a local solicitor from the firm Chambers Fletcher who proved to be most efficient and completed all paperwork in time for completion 11 weeks later. The valuation can only be described as accurate as it resulted in a close offer within 2 weeks of online marketing. All viewings were managed by a lovely lady called Megan for whom nothing was too much trouble - we were happy to leave our house in her care. Even my last visit to their Northwich office on completion morning to hand over the keys was a mixture of friendly banter and a little sadness. Looking forward to more business in the future.

Terrible experience selling our house.We were dealing with Michael from the Tarporley office who on the phone sounded great, but in reality just couldn’t be bothered.He never returned any phone calls, failed to organise a ‘For Sale’ sign for outside our house, took 3 days to action a simple request like removing a photograph from Rightmove, made no attempt to sell our house, just simply advertised it.I eventually decided to use another agent and was advised it takes 2 weeks to remove a listing, nearly 3 weeks passed and I had to remind them, after making a complaint direct to them about Michael nothing was done, customer care from Hinchliffe was very poor..
