This is the second time we have rented our house with Butters John Bee. I have to say that the WINSFORD branch are excellent. They really help every step of the way and get the right tenants for you. The neighbours also commented on how lovely the tenants have been. I have to say if you are thinking of renting your house or even if you are thinking of renting then this is a great company. REBEKKA and NATALIE and JEMMA go above and beyond. Thank you for making something that could be so stressful so much easier especially when getting a new kitchen and windows fitted when new tenants are moving in. You make sure all parties are informed and this, for me, is the most important thing!

We had the most fantastic service from the Lettings team at the Newcastle-Under-Lyme branch. We live out of the area so having trust & confidence in the team was so important to us as we physically were unable to deal with the process of securing a new tenant. We were treated with complete professionalism and would have no hesitation in recommending Butters John Bee. This is not the first time we have used BJB and will continue to do so in the future. I found the house buying process through BJB incredibly frustrating. I regularly had to send 2 or 3 emails before I got a response. They also insisted I attended "an hour long appointment" for which I had to take an 80 mile round trip - when I got there it only actually took 10 minutes and basically consisted of them try to convince me to use 'associated' solicitor. At one point I had an incredibly patronising conversation where a member of staff tried to tell me that I had misunderstood the valuation report - I had not misunderstood, they had or they were lying. They also lied about passing messages onto the vendor, and everything took soooooo long!Basically, if I hadn't have had direct contact with the vendor my house purchase would never have succeeded.

Terrible way to run an estate agency!Had a viewing booked asked them to wait until we at least viewed the property before accepting any offers, rang us 2 hours before the viewing to say it was sold....Didn't even give us a chance!Attempted to view said property from the day it was advertised but they couldn't accommodate, eventually arranged a viewing and they go and sell it before we even had a chance to offer?Poor property owner lost out I think without even realising - Sell quick, fast profits, never mind about the seller and their best interests. I'll never call these people again - AwfulAs for the reply below, it was actually YOU who couldn’t accommodate me in viewing, as also mentioned we were cash buyers with a substantial budget, I also asked you to let me know if any offers were made to at least give me some opportunity to consider a higher offer!Please don’t bother making contact, I’ll find my own property with agents that have a better idea on how to treat clients.
Good afternoon Alan, thank you for your feedback and I am sorry you were unable to view this property of your choice. When speaking to you yesterday I did suggest a viewing as soon as possible even that day, but you were unable to do so. Our ways of working are very clear and we have an obligation to our vendors to give them any offer received straight away and then act on their instructions. In this case the offer was considerable higher than asked for and the persons concerned were proceedable as their sale is completing this week. As a result the vendor choose to accept the offer and asked us to refrain from any further viewings. Again our apologies and hope you are successful in finding your new home soon, we would be more than happy to help you with this.

We are letting our house through butters john bee and I must say that our initial experience was not up to the mark ! Since we raised our concerns, Liz from Hanley branch took over and everything started moving in the right direction very quickly. Liz replies to emails within few hours and has always been very helpful and supportive. I would recommended Butters John Bee to anyone that is looking for a quick and easy sale or purchase. Poor service, never answer or return calls. Add fees on and don’t tell you. Staff are rude and never let I speak to a manager. Agents answer the Own complaints. Staff lie all the time to you l. Would never use and would never trust any one at butters John beeToo late for comments should of done it straight away. I’ll let the property ombudsman deal with it

I made a cash offer which i was told had been accepted. Only to find the next day on a second viewing i was surrouded by other families - all allowed to view and bid. Apparently i should have showed that i had proof of money straightaway otherwise the property was still on the market. They should have explained that when i put my offer in. Then a second bidder came forward. Given a full and final offer day and time i reinstated my cash offer. The next day after the deadline i was given the run around to change some paperwork i had submitted and raise my offer yet again. I was given the belief that all was good. A while later a phone call to say i didn't win the property. So used to get other bidder to bid even more. So that's how i feel Used. Should have stopped at the full and final offer. Not get me and other bidder to up bids further. I had the money - they asked if could complete without survey and searches and i said yes. Just messed me about. In answer Hannah it is the Stafford branch - i have emailed the lady that dealt with me and sent this review to her also

I was a reluctant seller of my lovely house, but it was time for change. I decided immediately on meeting Lauren, that she would be the one to market my home. It was some six months later that I finally took the bull by the horns and contacted her again. She advised me that my home would be attractive to purchasers and would sell quickly. I was admittedly just a touch sceptical, But signed her up on the Monday. I had viewings immediately and offers flying in and then my home went on to 'best and final offer'. By Saturday, I had accepted an offer. The staff that did the viewings for me, treated my home respectfully. I couldn't face showing people around myself. I would not hesitate to recommend Butters John Bee in Winsford to market your home too.
