I recently bought a flat through RMS in Jesmond. Kevin and Marie were brilliant, excellent communication throughout the whole process. They are responsive and listened and acted when issues arose. You can tell there is good communication within the team- calls are returned promptly and when Kevin was on holiday there was always someone else who was available to help and who knew the current situation. 12 weeks from offer to completion, even with the xmas break, very happy, thank you!

Friendly and helpful staff at the West Denton branch

The staff at the West Denton branch were extremely helpful in our recent relocation from Dorset and I can't thank Ellie and Claire enough for the support they gave us in our purchase and move. They provided regular telephone and email contact and were always available to answer our queries. The referred solicitor was extremely helpful too. Claire was so lovely and welcoming whilst dealing with us and helped so much throughout the process of us buying our first home. Claire was always available on the phone for a chat when we had questions. She also recommended Faye, their in house mortgage advisor who was fantastic throughout. Best mortgage advisers ever Alistair…

Best mortgage advisers ever Alistair Bowman. He’s gets 20 out of 10 from us: He goes over and above we couldn’t have asked for more. He made sure everything was chased up without us even asking. The process was as made as simple as it could possibly be. Alistair removed all the stress from the buying process. In the worse possible time to get a mortgage. Everyone fighting for the best deal & remortgaging before the rates went up. Rates were increasing by 0.5% every week - few days. Anyone thinking is it worth getting a mortgage adviser do not hesitate with Alistair. We have friends who are buying at the same time & it’s taking much longer than ours. We offered on the 31st May and completed even with a delay from vendor having an operation 12th Sept 2022. Our friends are still waiting on completion and had lots of errors with paperwork which Alistair made sure we didn’t. Alistair treats you very professionally but also as a friend. Even checking in when there wasn’t any further update but he let you know that he’d been checking & not just letting the process drag on. Managed hiccup we had with Survey coming back as lower value than we had offered. This was managed professionally and with Empathy. As the house was being sold via RMS he was also able to speak to the estate agent Wendy who helped us out to (managed what could have been a no sale & vendor taking the house off the market, to being realistic and understanding for both sides which she didn’t have to be) on our behalf making aware of difficulties even when this isn’t normally something they would do. We secured the house at the price advised on full survey, and in the most efficient timescales possible. Alistair made sure we were aware every step of the way, we didn’t have to chase up at all. Alistair has even checked in after everything is complete which I’m sure most advisers don’t do. He’s on my friends list now😊, we gained great insight in to the process that none of our friends have. Absolutely couldn’t get better than Alistair don’t hesitate to sign up with him. He even checked rates right up to that last minute making sure we had the best deal. I hope Alistair gets the rewards he deserves. We wouldn’t think of possibly going elsewhere. Would definitely recommend 🤩🌟

Friendly yet professional staff

We recently moved from Newcastle to Leeds, and RMS in Gosforth dealt with the sale of our house. The staff there were always friendly, efficient, helpful and professional. David Jones (Branch Manager) came to carry out the valuation, and Natalie Best was our point of contact, with Eve Morley filling in when Natalie was unavailable. Throughout the process, Natalie supported us, and often chased up solicitors on ours and the buyers’ behalf. This made what was a very stressful and lengthy process all the more bearable. I would definitely recommend RMS to anyone looking to buy or sell a property.

I just wanted to say a massive thank you to all the team at RMS Ryton - especially Victoria who has made a difficult house sale a breeze to deal with. From initial valuation, to listing and on to completion, Victoria has been "on the ball" and "on my side". Whilst moving is always stressful, the team @ RMS Ryton have made this a positive experience for me, taking all the chasing and hassle into their own hands and providing me with daily updates (hourly when required) about their progress. Fantastic mortgage Advisor

The biggest thank you to Alistar, he was amazing from start to finish. Im so glad i was recommended him by several people. Having a little bit of a complex mortgage case with not much idea how things work he always explained everything to me perfectly even when solicitors weren't staying in contact. Recent sale and purchase via RMS Blyth. Service was excellent. Sale - valuation and management of viewings was very good. Only people with genuine interest came for viewings which was really appreciated and indicates Rook clearly match the right people to the right properties. Property sold within 1-1.5 weeks.Purchase was also through Rook. Rook have the vast majority of properties on their book in the area so being on their active purchaser list was highly advantageous. We were proactively invited to viewing properties that met our requirements and our timelines. No hard sell or pushy tactics - all highly professional in their approach backed up with detailed insight and understanding of the local area. This gives you confidence when buying through them.Despite this being an extremely busy office the team are great and there is a personal touch to their service. Alison and the team at Rook Matthew’s Sayer, Whitley Bay, were outstanding from my first encounter with them in the office throughout completion on our purchase and sale, and beyond.Their knowledge of the local market, and drive to find the right buyer and get the best price for each property, is exceptional. Alison worked tirelessly to negotiate on our behalf. Once the sale and purchase was agreed the hard work and regular communication continued. It’s rare to find an agent who can be impressive in both the sale negotiation and holding the sale together through to completion without bump or incident. We’ve sold and bought properties in different areas of the country and region and I’d go as far as to say this was the perfect agent experience - I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend them.
