Fantastic team

From start to finish Oulsnam kings Heath were fantastic in particular Michelle she came to value the house after the death of our parents and it was really sad for us but she was so lovely and sympathetic and a shoulder to cry on.It sold instantly.But it took an awful long time because of the Will and Deputyship problems but Oulsnam liased with the solicitors and kept us updated every step of the way .We can’t thank them enough Moving forward I wouldn’t hesitate to use Oulsnam in the future So thank you

Fantastic team

We had a brilliant experience with the Oulsnam Bournville team. The whole team were incredibly helpful and proactive during our sale and purchase, and particular thanks to Anna and Emma who were so supportive and helped us to secure an early viewing on a house we loved and eventually moved into. Great communication, the whole team was a pleasure to deal with from start to finish. From personal experience estate agents can be frustrating to deal with. Oulsnam are the exception. Jeff Field deserves a mention, we viewed a property with him this afternoon and he carefully listened to our thoughts and what we were saying about the property and was able to direct us to view another property listed with Oulsnam. We really appreciate this customer service and the personal touch because we are travelling quite a journey to view properties in the Redditch area and it meant we could view a second home today without having to make an additional long journey! Oulsnam Redditch 5 Stars

I shall be forever thankful that I found Vicky and the team at Oulsnam Redditch. Today, we complete on our house sale in Rubery after 9 painful months on the market with another agent, Oulsnam were a breath of fresh air. The service offered was impeccable, honest and they delivered. Within 5 days of being on the market with Oulsnam, I had 4 booked viewings, all conducted over a weekend with Jeff. Jeff was fantastic with the viewings and taking people around with knowledge, friendliness and consideration. He kept me informed about how they each went, something that I completely lacked from my other agent. By the end of the weekend, after 4 viewings, I had 3 offers on the table! Absolutely amazing!! Just sold my house with Oulsnam and Co. Kings Heath, the team are excellent. I was a little apprehensive in the beginning about the whole process but Michelle gave me reassurance that they would manage everything on my behalf from the start. The photos Georgie took were great quality and really showcased the house at it’s best, and both she and Alison were fabulous with viewings and keeping me informed every step of the way. Regular updates were provided giving details of the current property market which were useful too. Overall I am very pleased with the service provided, the team are professional with a friendly approach, and I would certainly use them again.

A Difficult Journey Made Easier by Emma

Our sale and purchase has been one of the most stressful experiences we’ve ever been through, lasting several months and involving delays that were largely outside Oulsnam’s control. Throughout it all, Emma Sutton has been exceptional. She kept us updated, chased matters relentlessly, and was always honest about where things stood. Even when there was very little progress to report, she never left us wondering what was happening and always responded promptly to our emails and calls. What really stood out was that Emma genuinely cared. She understood how stressful the situation had become for us and worked tirelessly to keep the transaction moving. We always felt that she was on our side and doing everything within her power to achieve a successful outcome. A positive honest team.

I contacted Oulsnam as many properties around mine had sold quickly for a good price. The valuation was surprising, and much more than I had expected, I had fast viewings and an initial over priced offer, which was withdrawn a couple of weeks later. Undaunted the agent pressed on keeping me in the loop at all times, finances generally were not good, the oil price’s rose, and dreadfully wet weather all conspired against us, but Oulsnam kept me going, luckily I had the time to allow for these set backs, dozens of viewings later, and a reduction in price, saw a cash buyer, essential as part of an extension was only of single brick thickness, unknown to me, but difficult as far as a mortgage was concerned. Much negotiation later led to a firm offer and a sale. Oulsnam supported me and kept me buoyant throughout the process, all the Agents were very friendly and positive, which led to an eventual sale I’m sure. A wonderful team, with an excellent leader. Thank you.

Oulsnam's estate agents were very professional, courteous and fast to reply to everything we asked of them when selling our property. Our dedicated agent was Angela who was everything expected from an estate agent. Alongside the sale of the property, we also had the probate process running at the same time. Particular issues were handled with a very caring attitude. Not even worth one star! I’m writing this on behalf of my sister who I have had to physically hold to stop her having a nervous breakdown after the completion of the sale of her house by Oulsnam failed to go through. Removal van had taken the furniture, solicitors informed us the money was being transferred, so we went to the new property and awaited confirmation that the money was in my sister’s account. And waited; and waited. Solicitors finally told us that the Contract Completion had not gone through! Removal van took the furniture away; the seller of her new property was furious and Oulsnams response -“why hadn’t she dropped the keys off”. WHY would anyone relinquish the keys to their property when the sale had not gone through. Completion did go through the following day - the reason for the delay was the bank undertaking a spot check - the only reason we can think of for this was because the buyer had informed Oulsnam that he was making a significant cash deposit towards the purchase. So knowing that; and knowing that the banks scrutinise cash transactions closely, why was there no contingency in place to accommodate a potential hold up and subsequent failure to complete on the due date. No apology has been given. But they were very quick to tell her she had to release the keys as she was breaking the law by not doing so!

I have used Robert Oulsnam on several occasions in the past, and they are the first estate agents I would recommend to anyone selling their home, mainly because of the personal service you get from them. Oulsnam was one of the first agents I approached but I was swayed by another local firm; big mistake! The other firm did not know the demographic, did not spend time with the viewers and after 3 months they offered no advice other than to repeatedly drop the price. Four weeks in with Oulsnam, and the house had sold at over the asking price. The buying process was delayed due to poor communication from the buyer's solicitors. Throughout this situation I was contacted by Amanda, reassured and kept in the loop. Near the end of the process, Amanda took many calls from me and answered all my questions. Amanda was professional and measured. I am glad I made the swap. A reputable company that offers speedy communication and knows the processes inside out. Thank you again, I would recommend you without hesitation.
