GoogleClearly some fake positive reviews being posted here. After scheduling a viewing, we travelled 60 miles to the property. 1 hour before the scheduled appointment I get a voicemail from Claudine (?) telling me that they were cancelling my viewing because Jackson Grundy hadn’t received confirmation from the current tenants to access the property. Claudine’s manner seemed unprofessional on the voicemail. I called her back and explained that it was inconvenient to have the appointment cancelled at such a late stage as I was not local. Rather than apologising, her first words to me were ‘no, no, no, no’. She didn’t make any effort to try and get a resolution and didn’t seem particularly bothered about wasting our time. I can see there are other negative reviews regarding the staff’s unprofessionalism on here and I can only echo that from my experience.

GoogleWe rented from Jackson Grundy for 3 years. Over that time we had various problems with the house including; faulty toilets (attempted to get them fixed 3 times), a huge red ant infestation that was so bad our children could not play in the garden (not their problem as it was outside of the house), an issue with rats (again not there problem as it was outside of the house), a faulty boiler leaving us with no hot water (reported it twice to no response), rotten decking (replaced with untreated wood giving our children countless splinters), a garage door that came out of the runners nearly taking my hand off and leaking waste pipe that came through into the front room (they fixed the leak but did nothing about the damage, I painted it myself). To top it all off they sent us an eviction notice in the middle of the global pandemic saying that the landlord wants to sell the property, we have since moved out and the property has popped back up on their website for a higher rent. Just to add insult to injury they have disputed our deposit saying that the property was not clean, even though it was left in a much cleaner state than it was given to us. I would not recommend renting through them, they will gladly take your money and think it is ok to treat people like dirt.
