Rental side of estate agents are awful. We had a bad experience. Tried to get us on everything when we moved out, even though we left house cleaner than we got it. Unhelpful, unfriendly staff. Also left paying for rent for a house with multiple leaks and water was turned off to prevent damage so we couldn’t move back in! And landlord and estate agents couldn’t care less, never got fixed. Also got stung on garden charges as I’ve seen others have, they took photos of weeds under hedges zoomed in!!! Never use them for rentals however the team for sales are great!

The Duston team were excellent from start to finish. They worked extremely hard and after I accepted an offer on my property, Becky then proceeded to work on the next stage of the sale. All calls were returned, and emails answered, we had great communication with Hayley, even if our translation took long months, we were very lucky to have her support through all this process. We had our house valued by 4 estate agents - and as soon as we met Matthew at Edward Knight we knew that’s who we wanted to sell our house. He was professional, honest, knowledgeable and not pushy. Marketing of our house was super quick and professional - photos were taken at 10.30am and it was on the market by 12.30pm and our house sold that evening! We had lots of interest and offers which were managed respectfully and professionally by the team. The process of selling with all parties involved in complex but Mark at Edward Knight kept the line of communication going and chased solicitors, mortgage brokers and even the vendors for the property we were purchasing. Email responses were always prompt and we were kept updated which helped to ease stress levels. We know that if it wasn’t for the work of Matthew and Mark we would not have sold at the price we did. Edward Knight were recommended to me and I am so glad we sold with them. I highly recommend them, you won’t find a more dedicated team. Thank you so much Edward Knight.

He was consistently at my beck and call when I was under pressure to exchange by our vendor. He dealt with their estate agent’s effectively and provided me with kind reassurance when the vendor threatened to re-list his property. He helped connect our buyer with the appropriate lender, ensuring the sale, and chased up their solicitors to get contracts exchanged by our vendor’s deadline.
