Incredibly rude and condescending…

Incredibly rude and condescending staff, very unhelpful and were put out when I rang to ask them questions re my tenancy. Rang as they ignored email. Falsely advertised property both with pictures and goods stated in property. Took 2 weeks for them to confirm which white goods were in property. Had to drag information out of them as to what would happen next, eg once signed tenancy agreement electronically would we get copy of tenancy agreement back signed by them or ? Overall very unimpressed and would not use them again.

Misleading information

Viewed a property with the branch at moulton for a lease hold property. First question we asked was do they allow pets to which the response was yes. We put an offer in on the property which was accepted and moved forward with the purchase. We later found out from the solicitors that pet where not allowed to be kept in property. We questioned the estate agent with regard to this only to be told the managed company had changed the rules but when we looked into this further we found out that they had never allowed pets. I had to rehome my dog because of the false information we received from this branch as if I had not carried on with purchase I would have been homeless. This is not the first time my family have had problems with branch. Would never use them again or recommend them.

Michael went above and beyond. We had our new home built during Covid experiencing many delays so lost buyers twice because of the time it took, but Michael managed to find us a 3rd buyer! With his advice managed to sell (all 3 times) after 1st viewing. Dedicated and professional service, excellent value for money. Not great from my experience.

This is a strange agency, they have a specific office for houses over 400k but not really providing the service needed to sell such houses in prestigious locations. The house wasn't selling and getting very few viewings, however JG did not once proactively speak to me to see what could be done to make the house more appealing. Whether that be reduce the price or if work needed doing the house, I made it very clear to them that they are the professionals in this field and would be open to what ever they thought needed doing. We reduced the price but this was by our own conclusions about the market not from any advise given from JG. The other issue I had was with their photos, very poor done by themselves not using a wide angel lens. When I suggested they needed to use a wider angle lens they said they don't use wide angle lenses. Which is very short sited of them.The new agents we are using seem to be on a different level, they are using professional photographer and the photos have turned out amazing. They are confident about their ability so there is no tie in periods and they have taken the time to get to know the house and all the details.Also they kept trying to get different people from various offices to do the viewings which I specifically said they shouldn't for obvious reasons.If you are selling a large property over 400k stay away there are much better agents who for less will do a better job.

Recently purchased a property through Edward Knight and the agent Mohammed went out of his way to accommodate us every step of the way to completion. He recommended us a good solicitor and a speedy completion without us having to chase anybody. Mohammed took care of it all . We decided that we wanted to move, but didn't know who to put our house on the market with, or where we wanted to move to. We had 3 agents out, who all said to put our house on for roughly the same. We then saw a house we liked online and made an appointment to go and view, and that was when we met Mohammed from Edward Knight, this wasn't an agency I was familiar with. Mohammed, from the first time we met was SO passionate, professional and knowledgeable about the housing market in our area. The house we viewed wasn't for us, however he asked if ours was on the market yet, we said we were just about to, and he pleaded with us for him to come and value it. Mohammed said we could get much more than the other agents had suggested, which shocked us, but Mohammed was sure. Ours went on with Edward Knight, and in the first weekend we sold for £35k more than the other agents had advised. He even told me that the guy who offered, would be our buyer, before he had even viewed, as he knew it was exactly what he was looking for. Mohammed then showed us a wonderful house, in a location we hadn't previously considered. And we had an offer accepted. Unfortunately the vendors proved to be rather difficult, even though Mohammed and the sales chasers at Edward Knight did everything they could. But it was not to be. The day after we pulled out of that sale, a house came on with another agent, in the new location Mohammed had introduced to, we bought that house and moved in 6 months ago. I know estate agents have a bad reputation, but I can honestly say that Mohammed really is different, it doesn't seem like a job to him, more like a passion. He took so much time in understanding what we were looking for in a house, and genuinely cared! Very highly recommended!PositiveProfessionalism

Myself and wife recently purchased our first house and cannot fault Mohammed. When i first called i said the ideal location and he advised that a house has just come up and not even on the market yet but was still willing to show us the house the very next day of the phone call. The next day came and Mohammed got to the house before just before us and due to my working house he was able to meet my needs. After viewing the house we wanted and called him and made an offer and after mohammed called the sellers he advised that we got the house. Even though we got the house we wanted to show our family and he even accommodated this for us. After the sale and all the solicitors we where proud owners of the house. Mohammed made sure he was at the estate agents ready for the key handover. And yesterday (15/08/2019) i get a call to see how we are getting on and i advised that we have done the house up completely, he advised he will be willing to come around and evaluate the house for us to see how much it is now worth. Mohammed is hard working, really personable and delivers. Our house was previously on with Michael Graham and Horts, who didn't produce a single viewing in a 12 week agency contract. We decided to change agency and Mohammed at Edward Knight had excellent local knowledge of Northampton and made a tremendous effort to get our house sold. He achieved that feat inside just a 4 week period with our viewing numbers into 15-20 viewings. We couldn't have been happier. Not only that, we felt really assured with the offer we received, not only was it suitable, but the buyer was really well qualified, so we knew we were in a great position to accept and concentrate on buying our new home. We're people who really hate the feeling of uncertaintity, however we sensed and felt that as soon as we met with Mohammed at Edward Knight it was the best move we made when selling our house, the rest was simply a dream.
