I can’t thank Jackson & Grundy enough for all their help with selling my house. From start to finish, the whole process was handled professionally, and the team were always friendly, approachable, and supportive. Thank you to Olivia and Becky they kept me updated throughout the entire process. The communication from the team was excellent, and they were always on hand to answer any questions, making what could have been a stressful experience so much easier. Fantastic service by the Kingsthorpe team

I can't speak highly enough of the Jackson & Grundy team in Kingsthorpe, from start to finish they delivered a fantastic service. Will and David were both super helpful, from the initial sign up and working extra hard to get our photos online before the bank holiday weekend ... to keeping us updated throughout our sale. Any issues were dealt with efficiently and if we had any questions, they always fed back to us quickly! Would definitely recommend!

Amazing Duston Team!

We can't thank the team at the Duston branch enough for their help with our sale and purchase. From Chris' valuation, right through to completion, the team worked tirelessly to get us over the line - especially Becky Toone. At one point, we thought the sale would never happen, due to various delays with our buyer, and we were worried that we would lose our purchase. Becky and the team worked in tandem with our solicitors to move the process forwards, including calling, e-mailing and chasing the buyer and his solicitors, and keeping us up to date every step of the way, until our eventual completion. We cannot thank them enough, especially Becky, for helping us to manage the stress, and for their excellent service and communication. Highly recommended! Thanks guys :)

The wonderful staff at JG, especially Steve, have never been anything but brilliant throughout the 2 years it has taken to sell my house. Despite many sales failing, a few on the day before completion, they have instantly secured new viewings. The have always been honest and fair, contactable at a times and personable throughout. In the midst of all the let downs, I have felt supported and respected, so that I can now celebrate the completion of a sale that could have been so much more stressful. I became an accidental landlord in 2021 and used this company to manage the let. Without going into shocking detail, Andrew Denny was above and beyond helpful when I found myself dealing with very difficult tenants. Having found being a landlord extremely stressful, I decided to sell the house, at the same time, it seemed, as almost every other landlord up and down the country, Although it took a little while to get things moving, I eventually got a buyer and Mark Chapman was readily contactable and was up to date on where the sale was at, every step of the way. At one point, he even tracked my buyers down on holiday, after they had gone off the radar for very nearly a month without any forewarning or communication, just as we were about to exchange. At that point, I was convinced that they had pulled out without mentioning it to anybody and I was ready to remarket! I would say that he was more helpful and informative with regards to the later stage of the sale than my own solicitor was. As I don't live anywhere near the property, Andrew and Mark kept a close eye on the house for me so that I was able to satisfy my empty house insurance policy, where they stated that I must visit the house and inspect inside no less than every two weeks. Nobody likes the process of buying and selling, but if you have to do it, I would recommend Denny Knight.

I had high hopes for this agency but when we had a viewing in Northampton today it was disappointing. We were late by 15 mins as we coming from far with our baby and were trying to find the house. We apologised when we arrived about this. However, we were met with coldness and a rude attitude. Things happen and we understand that but you don’t need to be rude about it especially if you’re supposed to be professional. Aside from that, Mark was kind enough to resend the confirmation email for the viewing to me when I called in and the viewing was booked in fast which I appreciate. In future, I just think it takes nothing to be friendly and understanding.

I am extremely disappointed with the handling of my repeated noise complaints regarding a property managed by this agency. I have submitted a file of over 150 written records detailing ongoing disturbances, including dates, times, and descriptions of noise occurring at all hours of the night. And, after several months of trying to get a response from this place. I have received little to no meaningful follow-up or resolution. On one occasion I was told: “We will continue to monitor the situation and follow up as necessary. In the meantime, should the issue persist, please do not hesitate to contact us again and, if possible, keep a record of any further incidents (including dates and times), as this can assist us in addressing the matter more effectively.” That was exactly what i had done with the 150+ written records i sent them yet i never received a reply. The issue has continued without effective intervention.

Just avoid Northampton brach

Very disappointing experience with Northampton branch. I was already in the process of purchasing a property through this estate agent and had instructed solicitors to proceed with the transaction. Despite this, I was told that unless I participated in a competitive bidding process within three days, the property would be put up for rent. As a buyer who had already invested time, money, and effort into the purchase process, I found this approach unprofessional and unnecessarily pressurising. The situation caused considerable uncertainty and undermined my confidence in the transaction. I would have expected clearer communication and a more transparent approach throughout the process. Based on my experience, I would advise prospective buyers to proceed with caution. If you had already paid for searches, surveys, mortgage fees, or incurred other costs, mentioning that can make the review more impactful because it demonstrates the financial consequences of the agent's actions.

Jackson and Grundy Duston - superb

Jackson and Grundy Duston, have been amazing to deal with from start to end. We initially chose them to sell our property, as compared to other agents we approached they did not do a hard sell, harass us, or rubbish other agency’s in comparison to them. Megan and Chris were super professional throughout the selling process and they helped me secure an offer within a week or two of being on the market. Later Becky was superb as the sale progressed and supported above and beyond with facilitating communication between us, all solicitors in the chain and the other estate agents in the chain. I’m so grateful to the whole team for the fantastic service they gave us and after having a pretty dismal view of estate agents prior to working to these guys, I have had my mind well and truly changed. My advice to anyone choosing an estate agent to sell their property is to be careful who you chose to represent you - if they hard sell and make you uncomfortable then the chances are that any potential buyers of your property will feel the same. The team at Duston could not be more pleasant to deal with.
