Don’t bother using them

So we booked the appointment well in advance it was fine then I received three phone calls from three different people then I got told that one of their viewers had gone sick and blah blah blah and I said forget it. Do you know what if you can’t be bothered to communicate properly with each other and phone me over the same things and send me 20 odd emails or thanking me for picking you I can’t be bothered because I can’t guarantee you’re gonna sell my house properly. Don’t bother using them.

AVOID AT ALL COSTS

I would have given a zero star rating but it would only allow 1 star. Avoid at all cost. I would never recommend this company along with Jjl interiors Ltd landlords to anyone. The communication from the both of them is extremely shocking. I rented out a property which seemed to be all good. However, once moved in, there was problem after problem. Which every problem was reported back to them as things needs repairing. From leaks in the roof, sewer drain backing up into the toilet and sink, rats running around, mould growing up the side of the wall in the kitchen, no fascia on the outside wall where the rats were getting in. these were main things that I reported starting back in July 2023, in which I had to chase them up constant to try and get these sorted as these are something that should be a big priority. Upon emails and phones calls that were sent, still nothing was done. They eventually got someone to come out after months, to look at the roof and done a horrendous job as the roof still leaked. They were supposed to put the fascia on but left it on the floor in the garden. I sent a picture of the rats to them and still done nothing. The sewer drain kept backing up and flooding the garden with sewage which backed up coming back up into the toilet. I reported the drain in the November and nothing got done. With the rain pours that we had did not help with it at all. There were so many other minor problems that I had yet to report such as the front door dropped so it was difficult to lock/unlock, no seal in the living room window so you can see outside, the living room light and dining room light were wired wrong as one switch did not work and the other would turn both of them on and off at the same time, when the gas had an inspection the engineer said that it was earthed wrong, I could go on with so many other issues but I didn’t get around to reporting them due to trying to get the other issues sorted. The communication is shocking. June this year I had a contractor come out to look at the roof after months of reporting that roof still leaks, he came and didn’t do anything because he said that whoever patched it up did a really bad job that the whole roof needs replacing. This was the last straw and managed to end my agreement. Now on the next problem, the tenancy ended at the beginning of July last month and now the landlord has the audacity to deduct money off my deposit for cleaning deductions, which I had left the property in high standard and clean which I have photos and videos to prove how I left it. He is only giving me just over half of my deposit back. And I’m still trying to get any of my deposit back and now trying to get an answer from the agency and landlord seem impossible. The stress that the agency and landlord have put me through since I moved in has been awful. They made the house look nice etc until you move in and see the close ups which turn out to be horrible patched up work. I just want my deposit back and be on my way but they cant even seem to do that. Considering they have a 90 day period where they hold your deposit for, they don’t seem to be in any rush giving it back. I will be taking this further as I haven’t heard anything back yet again and have none of my deposit back!

I was in a very difficult situation with accomodation, so I fortunately bumped on Taylors online. I saw a very beautiful apartment but wasn't sure of getting it at that moment I needed it. But to my greatest surprise the letting agent( Ruby) and her partners made it happen. The paper works, vetting were swift and and amazing and now I am settled with my family in a beautiful home. Taylors was our second agent and we spent a long time researching all the local agencies before making a decision because we had a bad experience with another local agent. We are so pleased we chose Taylors. They sold our house in under 3 weeks (our house was on with another agent for 9 weeks and did not sell). Taylors were highly professional and their excellent local knowledge meant the house was priced appropriately and carefully marketed to attract the right buyers. Taylors are not the cheapest agent in town, but they were worth every penny. I must give a special mention to Chris (the manager) who was outstanding in our after-sale care. He worked tirelessly contacting solicitors and the buyer’s agents to co-ordinate and push the sale forward. Nothing was too much trouble for Chris and he always replied to messages and emails promptly. Steve and Shauna were also excellent. If you are looking for an agency who offer a professional service, have the ability to understand your house and who your potential buyers are and are also committed to looking after the sale through the conveyancing process I would highly recommend you talk to Taylors.

If I could score less than one star I…

If I could score less than one star I would. I called about a property, turns out it was false advertising and a scam and illegally listed. The lady on the phone was rude and condescending, she didn't listen to anything I said and kept repeating the same questions, she couldn't get her facts right and then she had a hissy fit and hung up on me. If they treat all their customers like this they will be out of business in a week. They definitely don't know GDPR law, they may end up in prison with a £18 million pounds fine

Then the buying of another house again great support multi viewings until we put an offer on the property, nothing was to much trouble for the team. Irresponsible and cheating Taylors Letting Bradley Stroke

I had a nightmare experience with Taylors Lettings Bradley Stroke branch the past 7 months.Taylors letting agents - Daniel Roberts haven’t bare his responsibility to discuss with my tenants about the moving out date and procedure, finally the tenants return us a poor condition property to us even we did an inventory report at the beginning which presented was totally clean and tidy. In the process, we show all the photos evidence but Taylors don’t deal with this, just ask us to communicate with the tenants by ourselves, finally we can’t come up a result. I have a question why I have to pay money to do that inventory report at the beginning ???So the tenants rised a dispute to MyDeposit (is a private company, not under government deposit system). We submitted all the photos evidence and the invoices which paid money to cleaning company resume the property clean. Taylors - Paul Maxshall (Deposit manager) said that will need about 3th month time for the result and I will get an email from MyDeposit of the result and I can say of the results. But finally I got no summary report even nor email from MyDeposit of the deposit issue. In between actually I was very hard can reached Paul and his team on phone and his reply email… so they just ignored me and the file closed by silence. So I tried to communicate with MyDeposit but unfortunately again, Taylors signed in itself as the registered person even I the landlord, I can’t ask the details and process of the issue. MyDeposit told me to ask Taylors to put me into but Taylors just keep ignored! I felt really frustrated, it was wasting my time to follow the case with no way and extremely bad experience to deal with Taylors and I can’t even get back the claim money I should have.Taylors Bradley Stoke is not responsible and a liar!!!
