We recently sold and bought with Donald Ross, the whole process from initial valuation to closing date was excellent. The intenseness of the market current was incredibly well managed by the team at Donald Ross. They maintained frequent contact, updating and providing advice where necessary. Buying and selling home is always a stressful time however I am happy to highly recommend Donald Ross estate agents and wouldnβt sell again without them.

FacebookI sold my property with Donald Ross, Ayr. As a vendor I felt fully supported by the team that was assigned to the sale. The staff are experienced, knowledgeable and efficient. Communication at every stage of the process was excellent. I am now buying a property being sold by Donald Ross and I have been equally impressed by the service from that side of the fence. Claire, Maureen and James deserve a special vote of thanks.

FacebookDid not enjoy my time being a tenant with Donald ross. We rented in Ayr and at first it was a quick move in all smooth. But just throughout the tenancy when we tried to contact donald ross it took weeks to get things resolved, we asked 4 times for the βfor rentβ sign to be taken away and it took around 2 months to be taken but as soon as we phoned with our move out day the sign was up again in a day. We are still waiting on our deposit and havent heard anything, everytime we phoned everyone just sounded like they didnt want to be there and like we should know everything. Wasnt the best and wont rent from again.

James who valued my property was approachable and extremely knowledgeable. He took first class photographs and nothing was too much trouble. This was the first time I'd ever sold a property and both James and Nicola put me at ease and kept me well informed throughout. On visiting the office itself, I was always met with a smile and staff who were friendly and eager to help. FacebookFirstly, PLEASE STAY CLEAR OF DONALD ROSS LETTINGS IN AYR! So far we have had nothing but complete ignorance and deception from the Ayr office, at first we were charged a reference charge (which is illegal in Scotland) and when we first moved in we opened the door to the house being left in an outrageous condition, lights hanging out the sockets, piles of dirt swept into the corner and the cooker left with dirt deposits within. We have been without a fridge for almost a month and when we have challenged this, we have been told a company tried to deliver it at 8am but we never answered which is a complete lie and the manager of the Ayr office told us (in such a horrible attitude) "they shouldn't have to deliver it twice" at that point, we had to leave the office. I can not stress the extent of the poor services provided by the Ayr office letting and please do not put yourself through the horrors of renting with this company! I am sure Donald Ross will reply to this, I would like to say I do not hold Donald Ross responsible as a company, however the Ayr office have cause an unbelievable amount of stress to myself and my family! I will be taking legal action if someone in charge of the Ayr office does not sort these issues out!

I completed an online request to Donald Ross, within 5 minutes I had received a call. Within 30 minutes I'd arranged for a valuation of my mother's home and also agreed a viewing for an apartment. I've never experienced such a proactive approach to customer satisfaction, I work in the residential industry and such approach is extremely rare but amazingly refreshing. Would highly recommend them, Brian Pettigrew.

FacebookOnly gave 1 star because I couldn't give none. Was charged for references which isn't allowed in Scotland and despite good references other people were allowed to view and someone else given the property at a rent which it was implied was offered above the asking rate. This smells of sharp practice to me. With regard to your reply we were given no option as to who we used for references or we would have used a free reference agency instead of wasting Β£130 . I have been notified today by rightmove that the house is back on the rental market so apparently the other deal fell through whereas we could now have been in the property and the landlords would have been receiving rent.

James did a fantastic job when coming round and taking wonderful pictures of our house. From the day we spoke to them about selling our property with them it was online and sold by closing date within 7 days. Could not have asked for better service. James, Nicola and the rest of the team gave fantastic service. Would highly recommend.
