GoogleDelighted with the service from Your Move Newton Abbot. Josh, Danielle and Paul were friendly, helpful and very competent. We were in Brittany for a time during the selling process which, due to lack of mobile phone signal, sometimes made communication difficult but it all went very smoothly. Many thanks to all the team

GoogleI had been trying to sell my house with Purple Bricks for several months with no result. Eventually I put my house on the market with Your Move and it was sold stc within a week to the first viewer for a good price. The photographs were professional which is very important (not like the amateur mobile phone pictures taken by Purple Bricks). Paul was most helpful throughout the selling process, keeping me informed and getting solicitors moving. The moral of this story is DO NOT USE PURPLE BRICKS they cannot sell houses despite their Trustpilot reviews. Use a proper high street agent who are more effective and you will end up getting a better price for your house.

GoogleHad a recommendation to go and see Holie the independent financial adviser based in the your move offices in newton in regards to a new mortgage i found her very professional with an enthusiastic approach to getting the right mortgage to suit my needs and lifestyle. Holie was informative and knowledgeable throughout even going out of her way to send me updates on her days off. I would recommend her to any one who wants to look into a mortgage

GoogleI have been using YourMove services for 17 months now through the letting side of life and Laura & Reece have personally ensured everything ran as smoothly as possible. As for having to find somewhere new to rent in a short period of time, the team really supported this difficult transition, they were very personable, understanding and we'll, Reece has gone above and beyond to support me, absolutely adore him for being professional yet friendly with his personal flare!! GoogleWe have recently sold our property with 'Your Move' who are based in Newton Abbot. We originally purchased the property from the same estate agents and received a professional and friendly service from initial enquiry through to purchase. We viewed the property at least four times as it is fair to say that it need some redevelopment. Three years on we have decided to move on again! So it made complete sense to return to 'Your Move' in Newton Abbot for them to deal with the sale again, especially as they were very familiar with the property. We were not disappointed, the valuation was completed in professional manner with every aspect covered in detail, all from the comfort of our newly decorated front room. The agent was contacted to take new photographs, there was a slight delay due to the winter weather but as soon as a snow free window arrived the photos were taken and property details were promptly published. We had contact with Paul and the team virtually every day as a string of people wanting to view quickly came our way. After three weeks we received and offer which was accepted and completion has just taken place today 20th July. One area of concern was the appointment of the solicitor, I instructed Paul to use the in house solicitor, thinking they would be based in Torbay area, to my surprise I found that the solicitor was based ion Peterborough. I spoke to Paul who reassured me that there would be no problem with the geographic location and that in his experience it was better to use the more modern solicitors firm, who would have people available to work on our file even if the main allocated solicitor was away on holiday or absent from the work place. Often one solicitor allocated would place your the file on hold if they were away with no-one to pick up the workload to move the case no in their absence. This turned out to be excellent advise, we had a very professional solicitor who represented us to a very high standard and left no stone upturned to ensure we had all enquires met, and indeed went on holiday and passed our file over to a colleague to continue in her absence. All in all it has taken about two and half months, but during this time the 'Your Move' team were always available and answered every enquiry as quickly as possible, Feedback from the viewers was timely and sufficient. We would defiantly recommend 'Your Move' to any person wishing to sell their property. Thank you Paul and the team, great job all around!

GoogleI came to Your Move in Newton Abbot looking for a mortgage , I had an appointment made and met with Hollie who was on the ball and quickly told me what she could get for me... I found Hollie to be so on the ball she is so quick at responding to emails and any questions I had, just what you need when dealing with something as important as getting a mortgage! Her PA Lewis is equally as good he called me and kept me up to date with all the stages of the mortgage! I would highly recommend and would definitely use them again! Brilliant, efficient team! Katie

GoogleWe used Hollie Cale from Your Move as our mortgage broker. As first time buyers we did not have a clue what we were doing. Hollie was invaluable in our house buying process from start to finish. She or a member of her team were always at the end of the phone to answer and questions we had (which was a lot). It never seemed to much of a hassle for her. We would definitely use her again in the future.

GoogleHollie has been amazing with the whole process of helping us with first time buying, she explains everything perfectly and is there to answer all questions all of the time. She has been updating us on every single step of how our application is going. Her PA Lewis is also amazingly helpful on Hollies days off. I would highly recommend this mortgage team to anyone. We went to our bank and were offered around 40k less than Hollie managed to find and secure for us. Hollie definitely makes the whole thing a lot less scary. Do not hesitate to book an appointment with Hollie!

GoogleYOUR MOVE NEWTON ABBOT Helping the older generation sell in a modern time. I would like to thank Your Move Newton Abbot for a particularly smooth transaction from start to finish. My elderly parents felt out of their depth with the modern internet way of selling but in particular Paul Caisley,the valuation manager took time to talk them through it and put their minds at rest. He also accompanied all the viewings and kept them in the loop . Paul showed great empathy with the daily repeated questions from my mother,who in particular is somewhat forgetful. For this I am very grateful. Indeed all of the office staff made us all feel very welcome and at ease .

Laura put our minds at ease talked through the steps we could take and even introduced us to the mortgage advisor Hollie. This allowed us to see all of our options and helped put a dream into reality. Laura even went above and beyond by explaining potential rental returns on properties we were interested in viewing. Laura explained the next steps and costs to a managed let and made the process seamless. Laura is an absolute credit to Your Move team. We are excited to build on our new partnership for rentals. GoogleFound us a great home and got us a really good mortgage deal. The staff at the Newton Abbot branch really helped us through the whole buying and selling process. We were selling privately without an agent and they helped us push the whole thing through quickly without charging any commission on our sale. Paul Caisley was particularly attentive to our case, with regular updates and honest advice. Moving home is always stressful but were glad to have these guys on our side.

GoogleMy experience with Your Move started really well with good service from Josh who helped to agree our purchase. However, from there it could not have gone much worse. We traveled from over 200 miles on a weekend for a viewing, only to be told that the estate agents had not communicated this to the sellers. We ended up waiting on the doorstep waiting for 30 minutes as the sellers were out enjoying their weekend. The communication from the team was exceptionally disappointing and we found Vicki (team manager) to be extremely rude. Eventually our purchase fell through and this was the last we heard from Vicki even though she was fully aware of our criteria. I would highly recommend avoiding Your Move if you are looking for a successful purchase or sale.
We have investigated your comments and can see that your concerns were dealt with via the branch some months ago now. The Newton Abbot team were always upfront with you and explained from the point of you making an offer that if the Vendor could not find a property to buy this transaction could not proceed. We are sorry that you had your heart set on a property and unfortunately it did not work out. We wish you all the best for the future.

GoogleWe have had a first class experience when dealing with all the people we have interacted with so far at Your Move Newton Abbot. We are in the process of purchasing at the moment, and without exception everyone has been polite, friendly, helpful and on hand to answer any questions or queries we have had. Paul in particular has been looking after us very well with viewings and transacting for us with the vendors, and also so has Vicky who has been on hand to very capably assist when I have a habit of ringing on Paul’s day off! Also we would like to acknowledge Laura the lettings manager and her colleague Reece who are equally friendly, very helpful and knowledgeable every step of the way be that on the phone or face to face. Finally a thank you also to Chelsey who has been very helpful with looking into mortgages for us and again has been friendly and nothing seems too much trouble. You have been a star as well! Right from our very first interactions with the staff at the branch we would have no hesitation in recommending the entire team at Newton Abbot to look after you, and your property needs, be that buying, selling or for lettings and mortgage services. My friend was about to put an offer on a flat in Totnes today. She rang and spoke to Paul Caisley. He was verbally abusive down the phone, told her that the vendor would laugh in her face about the offer. He was practically shouting at her and left her in tears. We then spoke to Ben who was absolutely lovely (thank you Ben) so my advice is that if you use this company NEVER use Paul as he is very abusive, aggressive and unprofessional. To insult and mock a young girl buying her first flat the way he did is absolutely vile. Steer clear of PAUL CAISLEY.
